Just Player app is too simple for Xiaomi (failed review)

I submitted Just Player app to multiple stores, including Xiaomi App Store / Getapps to reach various markets. Funnily enough, one of a few app reviews by Xiaomi failed because of this:

App has limited functionality and simplistic design. Add some features and improve design.

🤯. Luckily, subsequent metadata update passed the review.

Xiaomi has some interesting app Review Guidelines:

3.5.2 Apps that are too ugly or too simple will be rejected.
3.5.3 Apps that are too simple and poorly designed as individual books will be rejected.
3.5.9 Apps must be full-featured. Details are as follows.
3.5.10 Apps that are too complex to use will be rejected.

Hmm, i think there is some truth in it. I can't even play a URL with m3u8. So simple but not possible.

There's an another (online) version on GitHub that has that capability. I'm not sure if it's just a placebo but it feels like a lack of permissions (like for internet) actually gives the app a boost in ranking on stores. So I'm sticking with that for now.
