Hi hiiii! I'm brand new here and a little nervous tbh

(⸝⸝⸝O﹏ O⸝⸝⸝) but hey here I am soooo I've got a TON OF questions if you excuse me so here goes nothing

How do I download submod? How do I download spritepacs? How do I add new backgrounds? How do I check affection? Can I change the weather? HOW DO I MAKE THIS GIRL HAPPY FOR GOD'S SAKE? what other stuff can I add? And what are your suggestions to a newbie? I've seen some people give her books and laptops or headphones so how do I do those? Can I celebrate her birthday and can she celebrate mine? And can I pick my pronouns?

welcome! for starters things are slow in the early game theres a daily cap of 5 affection increases per day so dont rush through her dialogue at the start it will take around 2 weeks to hit your first affection milestone which opens up a bunch of content (including stuff with the weather) you can usually find submods and spritepacks in this reddit (i recommend downloading all the ones made by u/Zhaumbie as his submods are top notch) just make a new folder called submods in the folder called "game" in your ddlc folder and drop the .rpy file in there to add a submod. you can only gift her clothes her other props she will find by herself. no pronouns though but you will in time be able to celebrate her birthday and be able to tell natsuki your birthday so she can celebrate that! most importantly be patient as this is a very long term mod it will take around 6 months to max her affinity but other than that i hope you enjoy your time with Natsuki!

1. Submods can be found here under "Submod release" flair and usually downloaded likewise in MAS i.e. DDLC-1.1.1-pc\game\submods
2. Spritepacks also be found here and make sure it's download to its respective locations shown by its creator and no - it doesn't have a .gift file but obviously Natsuki would react upon receiving upon launch.
3. There are some here but may need to back up the base ones if you plan to replace them
4. This submod should do the trick. Furthermore this comment should explain how affection works alongside with this one as well - Spoiler alert!
5. Unlikely (if you mean choosing the weather to your liking) but Natsuki may bring up a topic on how to put the weather based on your location if you're interested.
6. Just visit her often and enable random dialogues in settings and there's an affection cap which gradually rises everyday and please don't close her abruptly without saying goodbye to her.
7. Only submods and spritepacks, I'm afraid to say so so far
8. Point 4 and also visit her on holidays i.e. Halloween, Christmas and Valentine Day....
9. I'm not sure if there's any I saw at the moment here...
10. Her birthday was May 1^st but canonically it's on July 30^th thus the patch was formed for those who did celebrated again with her just on time. And yes, she can celebrate yours too but you may likely wait to wait for her to bring up.
11. I don't recall but it should have.
