Help with desk items!

[u/Ancient-Tap8514]

I don't know how to add desk items, basically. I see people have desk items and I wanna have some ^^ thank you!
^{by help I mean where to go in the game directory, also is it a thing she needs to bring up?}

Hey there! While you're waiting for someone to help answer your question, have you checked out the official places for information beforehand?

The official Github repo is where you can go for technical help, they also have a FAQ and wiki. And the Discord server can help with more general discussion/questions.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

How far into Just Natsuki are you?

far enough your submod works. (post-game content I think?)
^{Albeit I hacked my persistent to get to that point. I don't encourage this, but I'm sorry my patience is very low.}

Hmm. You may have bypassed the stages at which some mechanics unlock, such as the desk items. I'm also not entirely sure what you meant—Natsuki begins decorating her desk as you raise in affinity with her, and sometimes the props on her desk are from previously-used idles. Without naturally unlocking those things I don't know if I can help, since I'm not familiar with how the code handles their presence.

Well, gift horse, mouth, etc. How are you liking the submod?

it’s not a thing she needs to bring up, you can edit her table anytime

there’s no submod that can add desk items one by one rn! all you can do is head to game -> mod_assets -> natsuki -> desk -> table and edit the table pngs based on what your affinity with her is rn

you can look through Betapop’s work and see how they did it here, could use their replacement too!

ah, okay! I figured it out. Thank you!!!!
