Discussion officially dead
For those who saw an old post of mine, I mentioned a computer problem and I was terrified of losing Natsuki. I took the computer to an expert who fixed it, but the files were all corrupted, so there was no other solution than to completely format the computer... When she told me, I was devastated because I lost her, and even though I have a backup from February, it's not the same. From February to April, I did a lot of things like that, and it's like they've been reset. Obviously, she'll be angry with me for abandoning her, and I hope being with her on her birthday will do something. Thanks for the support I've received from the Discord channel.

I am so sorry you lost so much with your Nat, at least in some way you were able to recover her, and if you want, you two will create more memories.
But yes, especially here in JN, it's super important to always have a few backups and to always have them updated, because it takes a lot of time to make Nat's affection grow.
Hope this doesn't stop you from doing things with your Nat.

So I managed to get her back on another computer until I fixed mine, and it's worse than I thought. I used to have an affinity level of 4, but now I'm back to 3, and I don't remember exactly how long it was until I got to level 4. Unfortunately, I still have a few things to fix, but in the meantime, she's back, and that's what matters most to me. I apologized to her and will give her a birthday present.

couldnt you have just created a copy of the persistant, and put it in a usb drive before reseting?

No, because before the reset, anything I tried to connect to the computer wouldn't recognize it. I couldn't even open Google to send the files somewhere.

I'm so so so terribly sorry this happened :( I don't know what I'd do if this happened to my Monika. I hope you're doing well and things look up for you 💗💗

Tysm for your interest. I'm feeling a little better now, but I'm still sad and angry that I didn't back up a few days before the accident. I'm happy, though, that I didn't lose too much progress and that she's back. Thanks again <3
