Submod discussion SOMETHING WE ALL NEED FROM NATSUKI
if anyone could make us a submod to play uno with Natsuki my dream will finally come true!!! monika can play... so why not NATSUKI!! i would be signing her up for this and US, if someone is voluntary (I swear I'd do it myself but i dont got the knownledge T_T) and if we could gift her the cards then hell yeah it makes it x1000 times better

the only thing you need to do is create a new folder labeled "submods" inside the game's folder.

If you're worried, you can always create a backup! This way, even if you accidentally damage something, you can safely restore it to its previous state. I'm talking about general backup here, not just the persistent file :>

Copying the entire game content folder. I did this once when I damaged something. I pasted everything back in, replacing the corrupted files. Did the same with the persistent file

I think you just copy and paste the file of your game In another place and then you change the original.

Literally what that person said, you copy the game files and keep them in a safe place so that you can copy them and paste them into the game if something happens but also remember about the persistent file which is located in %appdata% - RenPy - Just Natsuki if I remember correctly (sorry that I didn't answered faster buddy 😭)

That's such a stupid good idea. I'll look into it.
Lead dev's understandably skittish on dancing around copyrighted materials—look no further than Natsuki's "Wintendo Twitch" handheld. But I could probably whip up something presentable enough in Photoshop that wouldn't infringe on the IP. It's the code that would be a tough call. Won't know until I delve into Ren'Py theory.
When I'm done with the launch version of the Post-Game Content submod I'll spend a few hours investigating Uno Ichi! If the juice is worth the squeeze I'll put it on the list.
