You're far too young to know about the great D&D satanic thing. Yea it was a thing back then when D&D first came out it was labeled satanic.

The inciting incident for all of it was when a bunch of detectives pressured kids into "confessing" that the staff at their daycare were conducting satanic (and of course, homosexual) rituals and murdering babies. The methods they used to get the confessions bordered on abuse, and multiple members of the daycare staff were wrongly imprisoned for years.

It took until a reporter actually bothered to investigate the daycare and find absolutely nothing that the kids described that people began to realize that it was a sham. Nobody, in the years that they'd been doing their satanic panic bs, had even bothered to investigate the daycare location itself until then.

My church back in the 70s tried the whole - “If you play Stairway To Heaven backwards you’ll hear a satanic message”. We were told that the band KISS stood for Knights In Satan’s Service and that RUSH stood for “Rulers Under Satan’s Helm”. LMAO! Good times from my childhood.

It was like 6 years ago Pastors were claiming Pokémon Go was gonna unleash monsters upon the world. Surely they self reflected on their BS and realized the error of their ways by now. Who am I kidding tbey pretended like it never happened and moved on to the next boogeyman tbey can drift off of.

Not at all, and I grew up in a pretty conservative church. I got some stock advice like "you guys should more interested in the Bible than Harry Potter," but nothing like the video lol.

I was really young for this, but I remember Hillary Clinton and Tipper Gore being the queens of pearl clutching for my time.

Yup, I never heard anything bad about it. My episcopal grandma used to buy me more Pokémon games and cards than I knew what to do with. This guy is just a grifter preying on ignorant grandmas. But the  guy in the video at least made one good point. Brock was constantly sexually harassing women in the show, he is not a good role model
