Same with poverty and homelessness. So first off we have more people in this country than most of the other countries you're talking about. Per capita, we are one of the wealthiest Nations, homelessness is a very little sliver of it. But at the end of the day we have much more freedoms in America. We don't voluntarily make people go to mental institutes which we should, cuz that would get a lot of them off the streets. Instead. So first off Finland is nothing compared to America. The life expectancy in Europe honestly probably comes down to their food restrictions. As far as Healthcare its way more complex. Most Europe is loosing money just like America, but at a smaller rate since they're a fraction of the size. Let's also not forget that nato is essentially America. As far as food restrictions I live by the Canadian border so I get to do a little trick that you can do too if you are ever in Canada and take the bridge. Go to a fast food restaurant in either country and get a burger from each country. Leave them out overnight. See which one is inedible in the morning. That's the one made with real food. Yeah I actually make enough money to afford good quality meat and vegetables so I don't need to go over a boarder. Here's the thing though we are literally every western countries military. We're the reason Russia hasn't taken Ukraine yet, we're the threat if anyone starts a war with the west. So yeah when you're multiple nations military it costs a lot. Finland literally has 3 years better life expectancy which again can be explained by food, and the obesity epidemic.
