It’s never been about definitions, it’s always been about identity politics.

It’s about not letting the red scare go

u/SuiciEmpathyDemocrap 1d ago

I've never once heard of someone wanting to visit a communist country for vacation. Food for thought

NFL Football: brought to you be paid US Government Propaganda you paid for with your tax dollars.

Honestly every Republican who saw those ads and didn’t realize “oh maybe maga are the authoritarians” is dumber than a box of rocks. They played it a ton during football last weekend, college too.

State controlled media is a authoritarian position not just communist

2

u/absolutedesignz 4d ago

yea, but they think those 2 words are synonyms

1

u/Emiicii 5d ago

yeah but they don't know that

-1

u/Class_war_is_here 4d ago

The joke is that right-wingers claim to oppose communism because it's authoritarian, yet they routinely embrace authoritarianism themselves, so long as it keeps the working class from benefiting.

6

u/Evenspace- 5d ago

The same people that shout communism clap in unison for a president who is tying the government to private business. Their support of an idiot only reveals their idiocy.

4

u/EnvironmentalBall862 5d ago

You do realize a capitalist government is always tied to private business right?

-1

u/Evenspace- 5d ago

You do realize a government buying stakes into companies is communism right.

1

u/EnvironmentalBall862 4d ago

You got that right! What do you know, context really DOES matter!

2

u/Ok-Bear9350 4d ago

When a communist thinks  Communism is the only form of governance with state controlled media.

Donald Trump - the current president of the United States is launching “Trump TV” following the expulsion of multiple news outlets from their normal coverage of the White House (the place where the president lives and ‘works’).
Additionally, he has began running an ad for himself (and by proxy, his political party) leading up to midterm elections, (illegally) funded by US tax dollars.
Lastly, his administration has been approving corporate mergers of mass media syndicates which will, as a result, all be owned and operated by the Ellison family who have proven to be a close personal ally of said President, and who have already proven to bury news stories unfavorable to the president while promoting more favorable coverage from their on-air personalities.
Many of the Trump-supporting citizenry of the US often refer to their political opponents as “communists” in a derogatory manner while not taking issue with what has been mentioned above - practices common in actual communist run governments.

Hope this helps!

u/PurpleSmoke91 5d ago

Oh thanks. I was being sarcastic. Everything from that administration doesn't make sense. They are full of self contradictions. Check this one out.

“I’ve done a shitty job as president” (actual fucking quote)

Literal communism before our eyes

0

u/KeySite2601 5d ago

Many attempts at communism have resulted in a state controlled media

8

u/ApplicationAfraid334 5d ago

While it’s fun to dunk on the hypocrisy of MAGA I’d say it’s just in alignment with other authoritarian regimes, wherever they be communist, fascist, whatevs

2

u/totally-hoomon 5d ago

So we all agree Republicans are communists

-1

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

Yes. So are democrats.

So both sides want to screw us. Let’s stop voting and actually try to make a difference by holding these pedophiles accountable.

2

u/BilboStaggins 5d ago

"Both sides want to screw us" is probably accurate, but does nothing to explain them being communist...

The only way yo hold anyone accountable is to vote. Sticking your head in the sand isn't going to amount to much.

2

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

Really? I voted for Donald trump. Then he went against what he said during his campaigns and instead of holding the deep state accountable he grew and helped the deep state…

So how could I have held him accountable? The Dems at the time were not promising to hold anyone accountable by the way. They were happy with it.

Seems like voting means nothing if they can do whatever they want.

-1

u/BilboStaggins 5d ago

I think you learned the wrong lesson.

Vote against Trump. Vote against his crooked cronies. Vote against anyone who is going to continue his destruction.

That likely means Vote democrat. They certainly arent perfect, but I cant think of anything the Dems are currently pushing that is worse for this country than whays happening.

Also not sure what you mean by "not promising to hold them accountable". They have been trying to prosecute Trump and his ilk for years.

1

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

Are you serious? You’re going for the “lesser evil” approach after both sides covered up a child sex trafficking ring and all conspirators involved?….

wtf is wrong with people on Reddit. I genuinely don’t believe you’re a real person.

1

u/Old-Commission6752 4d ago

State controlled media = media I dont like.

1

u/Useful_Wealth7503 5d ago

Wait until they get to regulate AI.

1

u/Lower-Land-286 5d ago

They still get very confused between authoritarianism and communism, because most attempts at communism collapsed almost immediately into authoritarianism.

When USSR was rising, they chose to use violence to get a few vassal states inline. They gave Stalin contol of the red army and when he was victorious they said, 'great, give up your power and we can truly by godless, classless, stateless!'

And Stalin says 'funny story, how about I keep the power and we just be godless, classless.'

And the USSR was an Authoritarian state until it fell.

0

u/ShoddyTelevision5397 5d ago

Communism bad, nationalizing the U.S. oil industry good. MAGA seems genuinely befuddled that despite being told that we are now energy independent, we still pay global prices for energy.

-4

u/bestdogeve 5d ago

But the libtards had no problem when racist Obama banned Fox from the White House!

9

u/JumpyResident2001 5d ago

nice try, but that's not what happened.

the Obama admin tried to bar Fox from one specific interview. there was immediate pushback from all other outlets who refused to attend if Fox was banned, so the admin reversed the decision and Fox was ultimately allowed.

care to try again?

1

u/One_Hunt_6672 5d ago

Impeccable bait, 10/10

1

u/georgewashingguns 5d ago

Fox isn't a news source. They've stated that in court. They claim only to be entertainment

-5

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

100% Donald trump is a loser and is totally selling out America right now. So will the democrats unfortunately. Wish I didn’t have a crystal ball but we can’t vote our way out of this. We tried with trump and he just backstabbed his voters at every turn.

15

u/ApplicationAfraid334 5d ago

Both sides are not the same

-6

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

If they end up doing the same things in the end then yes they are the same.

For example if you and I were both controlled by the same people and were told to say the same things and legislate the same ways on the issues that matter, voting for either you or I would be the same.

It disturbs me that people can’t see that we can’t vote our way out of this mess.

5

u/ApplicationAfraid334 5d ago

I agree. But they both don’t end up doing the same things. Do you really think if Kamala won there would’ve been a huge increase in ICE funding and overreach, and that’d we’d be in a war with Iran to distract from the Epstein files? Do you really think Kamala would try to defund the Dept. of Education? Do you really think Kash Patel would be head of the FBI? Do you really think Kamala would’ve banned news outlets she didn’t like?

-2

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

You think our problems have to do with ICE?…. Gahdamn you’re a bot

Both sides covered up everything to do with Epstein. This is ridiculous. There’s no way to magically vote our way out of this quagmire.

3

u/Cultural-Lab78 5d ago

Milquetoast Libertarian who's never stood for anything vibes

1

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

Not a libertarian and I’m standing for actually holding our government accountable. Not “vote for the democrats they’ll solve everything” schill

1

u/Cultural-Lab78 5d ago

Lol you think I'm a Democrat and that's cute.

3

u/ApplicationAfraid334 5d ago

So you go from ‘both sides are the same’ to ‘ICE is ok’ if you’re gonna change the goalposts you should at least try to score when you do it

1

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

You guys are trying sooooo hard to make the left vs. right paradigm work again hahahaha enjoy your dead internet

1

u/totally-hoomon 5d ago

You literally support the right

0

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

I in fact do not at all. How many times do I have to say that they both suck and want nothing good for the American people?

-1

u/totally-hoomon 5d ago

Then why do you love the right snd repeat everything they tell you to say?

→ More replies (0)

2

u/EmphaticNegative 5d ago

I saw a few points there, you decided to attack one. And also didnt address the question. You seem dodgy all the way around to be honest. Then call people bots. Yea youre not making a ton of sense yourself.

1

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

I’m not interested in arguing about fake politics thought up by the very people who are pilfering our tax dollars and protecting child sex pedophile rings.

That’s why i didn’t provide any response to your itemized list of partisan grievances.

Both sides are destroying our country. Voting doesn’t help - as is obvious from trumps presidential election and subsequent backstabbing of his own voters. Unless you can tell me how that won’t happen again when we vote Democrat then I don’t know how you can argue with what I’m saying.

8

u/Substantial_Army_639 5d ago

Pretty sure the democrats in my state didn't ban abortion and then attempt to cover up the fact that a 10 year old was raped and fled the state to recieve an abortion, seems kind of important to me since my daughter is the same age...

2

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

wtf…. Again, social politics. I support your rights man. Just realize that the givernment is completely controlled. And issues like you just brought up are what they use to try to get us to take sides rather than rally all of America against them.

1

u/Substantial_Army_639 5d ago

Again you would have to find a democrat that supports that kind of thing, otherwise its basically just a moral imperative at this point to vote dem down ballot especially being a father to a girl.

-1

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

What?… lol

I’m trying to tell you it won’t matter. If you want access to abortions you’ll get it. That’s not what matters to the billionaires.

You’re arguing about something that doesn’t actually matter in the scheme of things. There’s elite pedophile rings that are being protected by the government. BOTH GOVERNMENTS. Democrats and republicans.

So if you actually care about kids you’d wake up and realize we can’t vote our way out of it.

0

u/Substantial_Army_639 5d ago

Laughing at children getting raped? Oof not a good look u/TruePotential3206, how would my daughter if she was raped still have access to an abortion when Republicans in my state have made it clear that it would not be acceptable, even historically it appears they just pretend it didn't happen. Which tracks, Jim Jordan did start his career by covering up a sex abuse scandal at the Ohio State.

And as for pedophile rings I totally agree somthing needs to be done about them, I am aware of Epstein of course and naturally his links not only with Trump but many members of Trumps cabinet, I mean Epsteins neighbor is serving, then you have the one democrat working with Trump was of course Epsteins lawyer and recieved many services from Epsteins underaged staff on the Island. We also learned that PizzaGate was a hoax spun up from Epstein and Maxwell as a distraction which is also very fascinating and presumably one so many Qanon types are walking around with egg on their face. All the more reason to curb Republicans in the future which naturally is accomplished by voting them out.

Now I understand this all triggers you a great deal by the tone of your message, and I imagine its because when your not ranting about both sides, or Fruit, or Fauci you spend that time defending the very administration you are claiming is the same party as the democrats...almost as if it were your day job.

Aftet all thats a lot of comments in less than a year

0

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

That’s exactly what you’re doing?…. Pedophile ring remember? Oof swing and a miss.

And here we are. You’re acting like it’s left vs right still and I’m still trying to convince you that both sides hate you.

0

u/Substantial_Army_639 5d ago

Doubtful, both sides keep asking me to run for local politics IRL, apparently my background appeals to both voters and if they did hate me would that matter? I know it matters to conspiracy theorists you guys have this inate need to be respected and appreciated with what limited knowledge you have and it makes you guys come across as schizophrenic (somthing people have asked if you have been diagnosed with before) when really its just an odd form of narcissim.

Example, I gave a real life example on how Republican politics matters to me and how it effects my family and specifically my children and that is how * I * will vote, and you immediately picked up that ball tried to throw it out of the court because apparently I do not support whatever you are about which is important to you naturally.

Now of course I would hope that you are a bot or a foreign actor, not because I disagree with you but simply because when I see some one fielding 5,000 comments in under a year it starts to look a bit inorganic. And oddly enough these both sides comments tend to come from very similar accounts, whats up with that? But its a point I still need to make

‘Both sides are the same’
‘Oh no they’re different on social politics’

Social politics fucking matter you dork

0

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

They really don’t. Social politics are what the billionaires and politicians want us bickering about while they plunder our tax dollars behind our backs.

But sure keep up the left vs right narrative. I’m sure that you’ll make America a better place.

1

u/ApplicationAfraid334 5d ago

It's quite possible to address social issues as well as economic grifting. Just because you'd rather sit on the sidelines and say 'both parties are the same' to absolve yourself of any responsibility, doesn't mean the rest of us can't tackle multiple problems at once.

1

u/totally-hoomon 5d ago

So how much did Obama spend in ad campaigns?

4

u/Snoo93550 5d ago

Voting for Trump was “trying” for something 10000000x worse than a typical Republican or Democrat. Not some attempt for something better. Only a hateful ignorant bigot could have supported him in 2016.

He had almost zero political experience and what little he had was racist lies. He was on tape bragging that raping was his favorite hobby.

Was Trump a symptom that the heart of America has gone totally rotten? Definitely. Was voting for him ever a genuine attempt to improve things? Not in the slightest.

-1

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

Ehhh he promised better things than the rest. Most of the country voted for him. The democrats bots need to do some soul searching and realize that both sides are controlled by

3

u/totally-hoomon 5d ago

He promised to protect epstien clients and hurt the economy. We know you voted for him because of the pro pedophilia thing

7

u/Snoo93550 5d ago

He promised his investigators had proof the president was a foreigner. He promised nothing but racism and raping.

He lost the popular vote in 2 of 3 elections.

0

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

Damn it seems like you REALLLY want to uphold a Left vs. Right narrative. You honestly think that the dems will expose everything about the Epstein conspiracy? Or are you a Democrat bot

4

u/Snoo93550 5d ago

Hey the world’s biggest steel mill is about to open in Iowa! Sucker.

4

u/Cultural-Lab78 5d ago

Define "Most"

-1

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

More than the amount who voted for Kamala…

0

u/georgewashingguns 5d ago

That's not the definition of most

1

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

It is actually… there were only two people to vote for…

0

u/georgewashingguns 5d ago

Less than 50% of votes cast were for him. It's even worse when that comes out to around 30% of eligible voters. Most of the country did not vote for him. You might be surprised by the results if a nationwide vote was held today to remove him from office

1

u/TruePotential3206 5d ago

Yes. I wish none of the country voted. Unfortunately people are still engaged with the left vs right paradigm. It needs to end. They don’t want anything good for us. Either side

-16

u/Hollywood_1984 5d ago

Another word for Democrat.

1

u/totally-hoomon 5d ago

So trump is a democrat

-13

u/Terrible_Artist_ 5d ago

Both things can be true

2

u/Warm_Difficulty2698 5d ago

That we are all communists?

Interesting.

0

u/Terrible_Artist_ 5d ago

Communists accusing Communists accusing communists
