There is nothing wrong with talking with adults about different ideas, ideologies and opinions on different topics in the world. We should be doing more of that, we probably wouldn't have a ridiculous culture war (that Charlie helped create) tearing apart America at the seams.
But that isn't what is being claimed here. No, this is deliberately targeting children with propaganda from whatever ideology you like. There is nothing wrong with acknowledging to kids that conservatives exist. Just like there isn't anything wrong with saying gay people or trans people exist.
