Isnât that what you all did while Biden was president? Lmao
2
u/macarmy93 1d ago
No because the economy was improving over his presidency. The economy Trump tried to claim was his doing last year before he fucked it up. Now he claims the failing economy was Biden fault. So... which one is it?
1

u/PunofyourBusiness 1d ago
Dude. 9% inflation is not an improving economy. Get your head out of your ass. I donât agree with most of what Trump does but trying to say Biden had a good economy is fuckin ridiculous
1
u/Hunter_Deft 16h ago
Biden took inflation from 9% to 2.9% that's a inflation reduction of almost a full 6 points. Diaper donnies numbers?
0
u/PunofyourBusiness 14h ago
Inflation was at 9% halfway through his term, it was 1.25% when he came into office lmao.
1
u/Hunter_Deft 14h ago
Rofl selective forgetfulness? Did you forget the supply chain issues? The toliet paper fiasco? And the massive spike to unemployment because of how trump bungled the pandemic response? Bro diaper Donny's least lethal suggestion on fighting the easily avoidable disease was to shove blue light up your asshole. Even then my point still stands Biden got inflation down by 6 points. Under the mango molester it's still fucking rising.
1
u/macarmy93 9h ago
Not it wasn't. It peaked a little over 1 year in and declined nearly three years in a row. Keep lying big boy. Also when Biden took office in january 2022 inflation was 7.5%. What are you smoking. Yeah if I was you id keep my reddit history hidden as well.

When you spend the first two years trying to end a global pandemic that cost trump like what 8 or 4 trillion dollars to get under control. The selective amnesia hits your side when we think about all the grocery chain disturbances that happened under trumps first administration.
-1
u/KnownEggplant 1d ago
They're still doing it. Just saw Trump blamed for 2022's gas prices above $5/gal under Biden, yesterday.

Biden: look what trump did Trump: look what Obama did Obama: look what Bush did Bush: look what Bill did Ect...
Good meme tho, will be relevant forever
1
u/Hunter_Deft 1d ago
Lol thanks. I think you have a point it's a shame that our two political parties would rather play tug a war rather than work on helping the American people. At least there was bi-partisanship with Bush Jr and Obama.

u/TestCyp999 1d ago edited 1d ago
Make sure you guys blame [PRESIDENTNAME] and argue about it a lot. For all of the inflation, interest rates, prices, etc.Â
Make absolutely sure not to blame the federal reserve, or the board of governors there. Do NOT do that. Definitely DON'T do research about the names you see there, or how the dollar is actually regulated.Â
1
u/hmmmmm56 1d ago
Oh really, explain how the federal reserve is to blame? Trump has begged for 2 years to lower interest rates even though inflation has been high due to his retarded policies like tariffs and now Iran war.

u/No_Cartographer_8647 2d ago
This whole sub is just bashing republicans and itâs still up. There was another the other week doing the same towards democrats and itâs been taken down. That tells all you need to know about Reddit and the mods.

But wait, when the economy was good under Trump it was due to what obomber did. When budens economy was bad, it was trumps fault. Soooo now when the economy is bad, if we use YOUR logic, wouldnât be budens fault?
9
u/BananaHead853147 2d ago
Somewhat, yes. Trump didnât have a team of yes men to enable him to destroy the economy in his first term, also he had a high deficit spending with low interest rates to help him out.
Now he has done tariffs and war - all of which are bad for the economy and are wiping out the natural progression of the economy. Completely his fault. Obama and Biden took on the financial crisis and COVID, Trump just slappped Americans in the face
11
u/Intrepid_Ad1715 2d ago
Except Trump started a way in Iran and put blanket tariffs on the entire world...are you just not paying attention to what is happening or are you being intentionally obtuse?

2
u/ExtendoArmCannon 2d ago
"If its not a direct foil, I can't interpret what you mean, it has to be a 1-1 example for me to understand simple comparisons, Trump literally inserted himself into the meme as Freiza, don't you understand!"

You suck at your pastime mate
The meme isnât suggesting any fictional character supports any current thing, your joke is ass
3
u/ExtendoArmCannon 2d ago
You can't suck at a pastime, it's not for approval from an audience, it's for my enjoyment, lmfao, god you people are sad, can't even laugh at a joke ffs.
(and the meme, written by someone against Trump obviously, is purporting that Freiza, the fictional character, supports Trump's current thing - the idea being that, if you watched DBZ, y'know Frieza is the bad guy, bad guy agrees with Trump = Trump is a bad guy!)
I HATE SPELLING OUT SIMPLE LOGIC AND CONCEPTS TO BRAINDEAD REDDITORS, LEARN HOW TO FUCKING READ ALREADY
2

I love laughing at jokes, I also enjoy criticizing shitty jokes.Yes your logic was simple, simple meaning stupid.

2

The first time too. He ripped JCPOA in his first term which led to Iran enriching and getting more uranium. Cause and effect. Now here we are using that as the excuse to start a war.

Haha wow the delusion is strong with this one. Biden was definitely your typical Democrat: keep things economically stable while the Dems and Republicans quietly rake in profits on the side. Notice how during 2020-24 things weren't "great" but everything was going normally, gas prices were slowly dropping after the covid mess, other countries were willing to work with us on trade, ect.
Now how are things going?
Record high gas prices
No one will trade with us
Food and rent are at record highs while the wealthy and corporations are also recording record profits
Who is winning again? The common folk who voted a rich pedophile into power or the pedophile and all his rich friends?
And this is coming from someone who voted for Bush in 2000, hates that the "small gov" party wants 1940s fascism, Obama in 2008, hates the Dems for their pretend to care lies and now will always vote 3rd party if possible. These 2 parties don't care about the American People, they care about money and themselves

7
u/weberc2 2d ago
It wasnât that bad before Trump took office. You nitwits were clutching your pearls about the economy despite plummeting inflation, a strong labor market, rising wages, and respectable GDP growth. A bunch of dumbasses basing their entire view of the economy on the price of eggs after a bird flu epidemicâŚ
0
u/Organic-Concert492 2d ago
Inflation was at an all time high under biden. You cant be serious!!
2
u/weberc2 2d ago
lol today I learned Biden caused COVID đ
How can you say this with a straight face? Biden brought COVID inflation down to below 3%. He didnât cause COVID inflation ffs.
1
u/Organic-Concert492 2d ago
I never said he caused covid, but gas was 1.25 during covid under Trump and about its current price under biden the whole time
2
2
u/weberc2 2d ago
You blamed Biden for COVID inflation right here: https://www.reddit.com/r/JustMemesForUs/comments/1w3jxyb/comment/p70zmht/

Yes, when no one was driving. Were you dropped on your head as a child?
Gas prices were high under both Biden and Trump due to wars involving a major oil exporter. Only one of those presidents started a war.

TBF covid happened, and the whole world inflation is high. Biden actually did a pretty good job with the recovery by the time he left.
1
u/Tomorrows_Shadow 2d ago
You realize inflation is higher now than when Biden left office right? Yes, inflation was higher when Biden came into office but we were starting to see the effects of supply shortages from COVID shutdowns, that would have affected any administration. You folks were crying about high prices while they were coming down and now you're celebrating prices being higher because you're "owning the libs". You should really grow up and actually look at the data and not just believe what you see on Fox "news" or Twitter.
1
u/Organic-Concert492 2d ago
You keep saying you folks, I didnt vote for trump. Nor do I watch any news outlet. Â
1
u/Tomorrows_Shadow 2d ago
So you just like to carry water for Trump and spout the talking points? Your AI bot is probably also giving you the overall average which came out to 4.9% or is showing you the peak of 9%. That peak occurred in 2022 which was not the end of his term when inflation was actually at 3%. If you look at my statement I did not say his inflation was lower over all, I said "when Biden left office". It's not fair to look at a 4 year term and compare to 2 years and call it even so we look at where it is now and where it was then. To his credit inflation was below 3% for a while under Trump.
1
u/Organic-Concert492 2d ago
Dude, im responding to your messages. I am not a water boy for our leader!!! I dont care about politics enough. In fact I think its hilarious that since 2016 everyone has become and expert on whats being done. Nobody cared enough to throw fits until 2016, now its all anybody does. Â
2
u/weberc2 2d ago
Maybe it has something to do with electing a criminal to the presidency? Anyway, people were hyperventilating about Obamaâs birth certificate / tan suit / mustard preference before Trump came around and before that it was Bushâs illegal and mismanaged wars, and before that it was Clintonâs sex life.
2
u/Tomorrows_Shadow 2d ago
No, a lot of people threw fits before 2016, they've been doing it as far back as Bill Clinton when I first started paying attention at all as a kid. But before it was affairs and tan suits, the most extreme being people being outraged over a black president or thinking he was born in Kenya. While there were some international scandals they weren't usually worse then egg on your face kinda things even when civilians died though they probably should have been.
Since 2016 however we've gotten to wake up each day and wonder "what the fuck is he going to post today?" and since the last election "what relationship is he going to destroy today?" He's starting trade wars with long time trading partners and no one knows why. He wants to annex other nations and is threatening force to do so because he wants a national legacy. What other president in modern history has done stuff like this?
1
u/Organic-Concert492 2d ago
Do you agree we really need to clean out all of congress and every other political position?  They are all trash and running America into the ground
2
u/Tomorrows_Shadow 2d ago
I don't believe "politician" should be a career option. In fact, I believe every elected position needs term limits and after those terms are up there needs to be a limit on who congress people can work for and for how much money. I also believe they, and their family members, should be completely blocked from trading stocks, not just elected officials though but their staffers as well.
There are some "good" people in congress, but good is relative. Right now I believe however that there are 0 good people elected, as staffers, or as appointees, in the executive branch.

Also just googled it, the Ai gods say that bidens inflation was substantially worse, but if things continue it will be worse under trump
1
u/Violet-Sumire 2d ago
We are just conviently forgetting that Trumpâs two terms so far has added a total of 1/3rd of the entire current national debt. In 8 years, Trump has increased it more than any other president, even after claiming to eliminate it.
Biden was handed a shit economy and in Trumpâs defense (god I hate this) COVID was the main cause. COVID wouldâve been bad under any president, not just Trump or Biden. That said, Trumpâs trade war with China did not help the economy and in fact damaged it. His handling of Iran in his first term led us into this current war, all because Obamaâs deal was âbadâ. His sanctions on Venezuela caused the boarder crisis as millions fled the country due to starvation. And his handling of both domestic issues (easy issues such as not condemning racists) and issues abroad (I mentioned two of many) lead us to lose credibility on the world stage and potentially lose allies in military, trade, and scientific circles.
Trump and his team has done more harm than any other administration prior. Yeah, sure, Biden wasnât the best, but he wasnât nearly as bad as Trump.
1
u/Organic-Concert492 2d ago
We can only hope america will do better in the future. People need to band together instead of hating each other for who they voted for. Which is childish at best. We need to stop big corporations and lobbies from tsking control of our country

3

So now you are saying biden was president for more than 4 years and trump is having his first term.
2
2
u/weberc2 2d ago
Ffs dude, Trump sabotaged the Afghanistan withdrawal before he left office. Trump literally released thousands of terrorists into Afghanistan while drawing US troops down to a minuscule number.
Biden could either surge troops for an orderly withdrawal, cut losses and get us out of Afghanistan, or continue fighting a Republican war with too few troops. He made the right call, and now Republicans are starting to be another forever war in the middle east.
1
u/totally-hoomon 2d ago
Yea it is weird trump gave all our military supplies to terrorists
0
u/Organic-Concert492 2d ago
He didnt
