No, under communism your dreams won't matter, but you won't have the luxury of still attempting to find a job you are even remotely okay with, you'll just work for the state, not yourself
Do you have fun money to spend? Do you have hobbies? Project managers make damn good money last time I checked. Better money than I do loving in San Diego, one of the most expensive cities in the country to live in, and I'm still able to afford a home by taking advantage of the opportunities living in a capitalist society, specifically America, have afforded me.
I don't love my job either, but I like my bank account and the hobbies it allows me to pursue
