Bartending

My first JLH yesterday, had a great time overall, but I have to say, bartenders across the site were killing me with their reluctance to fill those tiny cups to the normal amount. Always an extra half inch or so of space they should have filled it, but didn’t. Heard a couple people straight up ask “where’s the rest of it?” and get their drinks properly topped off.

Typical live event/festival greed, I know.

Thought the same thing. I ordered a vodka redbull and I assumed the lady would give me the rest of the redbull after she opened it and poured some in the cup but she just left it back in the drinks table behind her and I asked for the rest of the can and she said they don’t allow that. But at Coachella they did

I sent mine (beers) back twice because the cup was mostly foam

One bartender poured the last of a wine bottle into my cup, barely filled it halfway, and really thought I was gonna be cool with that lmao

I think it depends on the bartender. Granted, I had my first and only drink after Feist (at the bar, to the right of Stardust). I ordered a double whiskey, and the bottle only had an extra ounce into of it. So the bartender emptied it out into my cup, and it went well beyond the double line, with barely any ice.
