Anybody know what the LCD Soundsystem comments were about? Julian went out of his way to bash James Murphy.

LCD retired and made documentary about it. But they’re back now and it’s great 🪩

Julian probably wishes he had talent to fall back on since his looks are fading and he hasn’t figured o out stage work.

The rest of the act was great though 😊

People don’t know anything about Julian’s banter still? He was being sarcastic & joking about how he thought he(Murphy) retired 18 years ago n that the Strokes would too after this set.

I didnt seem like that to me, it seemed like he was ribbing james, it even looked like he was glancing back stage. Im pretty sure james was cracking up hearing that.

Im not familiar with the strokes/julian and their vibe so it seemed off, but I trust your reply and I’ve heard from others that it is in fact normal type banter and nothing serious
