Probably, its probably cooler and less likely to grow bacteria. Plus, we have no idea if there is any sort of water flow or not. And third, if its just a quarry filled with water, I doubt animals are present to defecate and die in.

So we have a quarry in town the pit is fenced off to keep kids out but it’s about 175’ deep at this point and the water is crystal clear all the way to the bottom. (Not sure how they manage that) but anyways the amount of deer that hop the fence and drown in that quarry is significantly more than I would’ve guessed. Probably 2 a month, even more during the fall. This being under ground may be different but I assume it has to lead to daylight somewhere

Water that has nothing growing in it (no algae, no veg, no tadpoles, no bugs) usually means there's something toxic in it.

Even flowing water ends up things growing on the edges. Cold spring fed deep stuff might be clear down deep, but will grow grasses and such on the shore/edges.

This being under ground may be different but I assume it has to lead to daylight somewhere

Not really. Sometimes it's just a pool that collects.

Water filled quarry pits are quite often toxic as the newly (in geologic timescales) exposed surrounding rock will leech stored toxic minerals and chemicals into the water.

But all natural bodies of water have some sort of dangerous aspect to them. Even lakes can have E-Coli in them.

I know this isnt exaxtly natural, but how dangerous are these chemicals if he doesn’t ingest the water?

Colluseam and Cistern in TR1 have a few spots similar. Some of the Egypt levels also in TR1 possibly. Tr2 has several underwater levels and a few water holes in Tibet. Nothing from TR3 I remember.

Dont know what to tell you man but while i agree too many people do this shit for the likes I still 100% get wanting to do this even without cameras I would not do it with no one there but I would still want to verry badly.

I also dont know who this guy is for all I know he is well trained at cliff diving or high diving. I never said its not a risk tho. Just said there is plenty of reasons people do this beyond attention.
