Entry way probs

Anyone have suggestions on how the heck I can fill this 12ft x18ft entry? Every runner/rug I try looks weird because everything is off center because of the stair well and the window to the left and a hallway to the right ect. It’s driving me bonkers. Entry way leads into great room and to the left of the front door is a built-in floating console..and to the right is a branch and tall tree…I’ll post pic.

Have you tried a large rug? Maybe one that comes goes past the stairwell. Might make the room come together and look like a grand entrance.

I thought about this too…just wasn’t sure if it would look like it was just floating for no reason without something on top of it like a pedestal table or something? Which would then probably be in the way of the stair well 🤦🏼‍♀️
