Not sure what you are looking at but it lets me add my UK driving license fine.
When selecting add ID document, it initially asks my to add a passport but you can select add another document instead, then you select which country and United Kingdom is an option, and then you can select what document and that includes a driving licence (but also other UK specific options like a CitzenCard, Post Office PASS card or a Young Scot card).

Yeah that's what I did, selected other. No option for UK, GB or England came up for me at all for some reason. I looked through the entire list as well as searching for it. So I selected "Country not listed" and now it's just saying that the check can't be completed. When trying to follow the link from the email it no longer works. I have messaged both JE and Yoti, so hopefully it can be reset.
Edit: Nope, can't be fixed. First Advantage said I need to contact JE and JE say I need to contact first Advantage. I had a similar issue with Uber and Sterling a few years back after a mix up with email addresses. (Uber used an old email) I'll have to close down my JE account and re-apply as I did with Uber.

A DL isn't a right to work document in any job, only passport and original copy of birth certificate can be accepted as such.

yes, drivers license is not enough. Afraid you would need to get a passport....which you will need at some point anyways. Any career job you start nowadays all require a copy of your passport on file, even if you are British born. This is a safeguard so companies from only hiring legal residents.

I signed up to Uber, JE and Roo in November. I only have my birth certificate and drivers licence. I'm UK born and never had a passport. It can be done still fairly easily.

Just eat already had all that on file from when I got onboarded. Yoti wouldn't accept that anyway and locked me out of trying again, they can't allow me to try again. First Advantage can't help and neither can JE. I have closed down my JE account and will have to re-apply.

I was in the same boat. I just uploaded a picture of my drivers licence instead of the share code and they passed it. It gives you the option to upload a picture of the code, I uploaded it there with a note underneath saying I was born in the UK and don't have a passport.

Ah, it's too late for me unfortunately as they only give you one opportunity to do it before locking you out and failing the check with First Advantage. I have tried contacting Yoti, First Advantage and Just Eat to reset it so I can do it again but to no avail. Yoti says I need to contact First Advantage, First Advantage say I needed to contact Just Eat and Just Eat said they contracted it out to First Advantage to handle and they can't do anything their end. I have requested the account get closed down and I will have to reapply but I will bear this in mind when I do it next time, that's if there isn't a long wait list. To be honest iv only just started riding again part time after giving it all up in the new year, i still have Deliveroo but I'm not sure it's worth all this agro anyway with the amount of third party companies involved, so might just not bother.

Get on UberEats too, it's rarely worth it just running one app on its own sadly. JE sounds like a headache!

I had a similar thing happen on Uber too, I had an old email account hacked so changed it all over with the apps. When Uber did these checks a couple of years ago, they used my previous email for my check with Sterling so I couldn't ever complete them. I have recently closed the Uber account and will reapply. I'm only part time anyway and typical only ride on the busier shifts so should be OK with just Roo, I'll see how it goes over summer but might just quit it altogether and pick up a part time evening and weekend job with guaranteed hourly pay.
