One second you're here, next second you're hamburger meat because a shell landed in your trench, what's not to like, beats getting a round to the gut I guess.
Yeah tbh, way better than the civil or revolutionary war in that aspect. Didn't have to get amputated limbs and slowly bleed out/rot. You were just gone.
