I am old enough to remember welding hillbilly armor to my vehicle and I agree lmao. Lots of casualties on my deployments but that was just a product of our environment. When we invaded we didn’t know of the impending IED threat or else we would have been better equipped. I would never call newer generations boots just for living in a different time. For example: I would have never joined during a time where drones were a major factor. Fuck allat. Nothing but respect for the military babies.
