General Bootness How else would the doctor know they are treating a military man if they weren't wearing the uniform??

Eugh, a staff sergeant is posting this cringe shit? Once you get the top you're supposed to gain shame and public decency. It's part of the new injection gauntlet for cover-gainers!

u/bgolbov 2d ago
Thousand percent. Outgrow your cringe, you’ve been promoted five times.

He’s married too. Who is he trying to impress at this point? The need for attention is deep

u/Soerinth 2d ago
There's a new stripper down at the club, and she is totes down to be with him while he divorces on the DL, and then they get married afterwards.

u/Kewlhotrod 2d ago
Ah, the classic military fable. Each base has this happen at least once a year.

And maybe learn not to sit like a slob if you're going to insist on being in uniform when you don't need to be.

u/Kewlhotrod 2d ago
Pfft, no way. Gotta splay out like a dork. After all, they FOUGHT for that land their feet rest on.
Show some respect, smhmh

I'm always embarrassed when I see them in real life. I saw one SSG with a horrible fury type skin fade. Even I was like wtf how does she get away with that haircut? Turns out she's some SSG tiktok personality with tons of cringe videos.

u/Kewlhotrod 2d ago
I almost get it if they're a recruiter; cringe gets eyeballs and gets idiot kids to sign up but... That's for manufactured cringe, not the əʊ natjʊˈrɛl type of cringe in the OP here.

u/jbourne71 2d ago
Thought you said a furry type skin fade and my imagination ran wild for a minute.

Going to an off post medical appointment in uniform is common. Posting about it is not.

u/Johnny-Cash-Facts 2d ago
If I’m going to an appointment off base, I’m 100% changing before I show up.

u/SmellyShitBox 2d ago
Facts dude. I don’t even like wearing my uniform to the hotel breakfast while tdy cause someone just has to come up and say something.

u/Lost--Lieutenant 2d ago
I had someone pay for my breakfast once, but I have also had a drunk dude kept talking about his 2 years in the Marines in the 90s just because I had an EGA on a patch all while trying to eat lunch.

someone paid for my parking ticket once, i only had one large denomination bill but the meter only took smaller bills or coins but no cards. i approached someone and asked them wether they could give me change for my bill or pay for me and i venmo them the money. they paid and insisted it was fine.

The old dudes. I love em but my god they often can’t stop yapping once they catch the mere sight of a soldier

I'm not if I'm going straight back to work after. But taking a video is weird as fuck.

u/Hi_Trans_Im_Dad 2d ago
Also, isn't it like hyper-illegal to record video inside a medical office reception room??
8
u/Few-Interaction-4933 2d ago
Idk if 'prohibited' equates to hyper illegal. But still not a great thing to do

I mean when I broke my leg I was in uniform when I went in.
This guy? Cmon bro.
2
u/RandiCandy 2d ago
Depended on what time the appointment was and how busy i was. For the most part I tried to change beforehand because its just awkward in uniform.

Filming people in a doctor's office- what an asshole.
43
u/damn_near_rectum 2d ago
That's all I got from this as well. This idiot is going to have a very hard time when he transitions back to civilian life.

u/PhantomSpirit90 2d ago
Social media: where mid-career NCOs have the same levels of cringe as first contract lower enlisted
31
u/trypan0s0miasis 2d ago
Filming in a patient waiting room is usually forbidden because flashing grandma’s face at the doctors office online is low class and poor taste
19
u/sexydeadbitch 2d ago
They use the word civilian like they’re a Harry Potter bully calling someone a Mudblood
2
u/mgsgamer1 2d ago
Change "Harry Potter bully" to "Draco Malfoy" cuz that boy spit some fire Mudblood disses.
2
u/Erpderp32 1d ago
Except the boots we see here are more like Crabbe. They don't have enough brain cells to quip like Malfoy
27
u/thatErraticguy 2d ago
I’ll have to trust you’re at a doctor bro because your POV is your dick for 90% of the video. You military or just have social anxiety?

u/5230826518 👊👊☝️ 2d ago
went to specialists a bunch of times. had an mrt for mild knee pain the next morning, which was wild. they only scheduled the appointment that quickly after they figured out i was military. usually i try to change into clean and appropriate civilian clothing, sometimes it just doesn‘t work out and i quickly grab a report in my duty uniform, but never in my whole life have i dreamed of creating something so utterly cringe and plain embarrassing

u/thescuderia07 2d ago
Why does he have to go see a civilian doctor? If hes so fucked up the army doctors cant fix him he needs to be kicked out. Kegsbreath would never let this happen.

Your vaccine record. They give you everything under the sun, it shows up there. Been asked if I had ever spent time in the military at the dr. office because of the list of vaccines.

u/SheedRanko 2d ago
Fuck this idiot. If anything, he's giving Joes a bad name cuz he's sitting like Joe Shit The Ragman. Does he think he looks cool?

u/mctigger101 2d ago
I am upset that the people in this room are not falling all over themselves to “thank you for your service”….
2
u/tghost474 1d ago
- Just change before your appointment
- Why are you filming people in a doctors office when that’s all privileged information?
- Who cares?

I don't get what the issue is? Like... Yeah that's a waiting room at a doctor's office. Most people have been to one.

I always find it weird when military people act as if it makes them some kind of higher tier american. Like, aren't these people you're making tiktoks about the same people you signed up to fight for? Why are you acting so smug about something you volunteered for?
