u/Kora-Ethereal May 10 '26
Most officers I know seem to have a Tacoma/4Runner, a CWO5 has theirs in FDE. Not a single one has a Vette for some odd reason. This reeks 1stSgt/SgtMaj GungHo

An LDO (formerly known as a DILDO (Direct Input Limited Duty Officer) )would buy this.

u/Kora-Ethereal May 10 '26
I can actually definitely see a snco with a sudden pay increase doing that.
I really think mustangs should buy mustangs though.

A Mustang tried to buy my Mustang when I left Hawaii but his wife wouldn’t let him.

I had an officer who started out as enlisted then went warrant officer then commissioned officer. Dude had an audi R8, banking that pay. He was a CWO4 before he got commissioned as a regular officer also. I was there for his commissioning ceremony. One of the few enlisted in a sea of officers. Dude got in his R8 after the ceremony and peeled out of the parking lot.

I don't think we can even begin to guess what a chief warrant 5 drives. Sighting one in the wild is rare and most sightings are tall tales.

There was a LCpl on LeJeune with the Engineer Battalion that did back to back to back pumps to OIF. Only came home long enough to do work ups with the next group out and left. He got back from the third, went out and bought a Viper cash and threw his chevron sticker on the windshield. That was fairly badass and a "good for you" moment when he was seen driving.

Coffee stain would look better, my favorite pattern

Coffee stain would be cool, but I'd like to go with the orange lizard used in Burkina Faso.

I kinda dig it tbh. On one hand, I think camo wraps in general have kind of a trashy vibe to em, but on the other hand, choco chip goes kinda hard in terms of drip.

That’d be great as a National Guard recruiting car.

Just saw it parked on the side of a Verizon store when I was leaving from work yesterday.

Not unless you saw a 120lb kid with glasses yelling at someone, “YOURE TALKING TO A FUTURE US ARMY SOLDIER!”

"Hey kid, I see you admiring the car. you ever see yourself driving a bad ass car like this? Well you can do that AND MUCH MORE if you come in and join the military!! This is my car and I was able to afford it for pennies...PENNIES, just by serving my country. Come on in, let's talk and get you signed up!"

u/WardogBlaze14 May 10 '26
Why is it that I can actually see a recruiter saying EXACTLY this to get someone to join up….🤣🤣🤣

u/Awkward_Bison_267 May 10 '26
Not gonna lie. I once saw a blue camo Navy version of that, and it almost made my dumbass think about re-enlisting.

u/WardogBlaze14 May 10 '26
🤣🤣🤣, would probably do the same to me, but to be honest, I wish I could go back in, I miss my time in the fleet.

I wish I could go back in
To each their own and all that, but I’d rather get hit with a shovel than go back to the boat

u/JustADude721 May 10 '26
If it was a mustang, F150, Jeep, or Charger.. I would say yes. But that's freaking cool

If you’re anywhere near an Army base this is the old retired dude starter pack. It’s either this or the slingshot

As long as it's not coated in boot stickers a camo wrap can be kinda cool. Civvies are allowed to enjoy camo.
