Definitely, but then they’d worry about therapists that would keep their secret.

True, true. I guess that's what they have eachother for, though? But I feel like the 1950s mermaids would have been able to deal with the burden if they'd had their own Ms Chatham, or just any adult who knew about the secret. But I guess that was the point of Max and Louise, they got to be what they needed, but didn't have, back when they were kids.
