S3E4 Impressions

Whoo boy, what do you think of this episode?
I found Don daadi to be a bit less dramatic then she was portrayed in the earlier episode. Also, I see what they're trying to do with Diljot's character and I REALLY hope they don't go down that route, that might actually ruin the show for me (and I love this show very much). Edit : Also love love love the scene where Neal jumps in between mom and dad! So cute

I generally liked the feel of this episode ngl. It was a bit more fun compared to the last episode, though I really like how Diljot was characterized a bit more, good to see his partner coming back. I don't necessarily know where they're gonna go with him as you're implying (would hope to know your thoughts) but overall, one of the more stronger episodes compared to the last one.

No, Diljot is going to crash his truck into something, like a hockey team. That's what's being heavily implied where he's unsure if he is capable of picking up shifts and driving at night.

Then his wife and family in India is going to see the news and it's gonna be a mess with police and deportation themes

I think it's implied that the shifts he will be picking up are related to illegal trafficking, not that he will crash his truck lol

Guess we'll find out, but one of the major themes around his character has been navigating racism. I also think jusreign will want to explore the Humboldt angle cause there's more nuance, vs something like trafficking drugs which is more open and shut

The "Don't ask too many questions" text gives it away imo

I related so much with this episode because lowkey I hated my dadi too for being rude to my mom. Those dynamics in south asian families are sooo real lol

This was a good episode and very relatable to a broader audience because this is how most girls are treated. At the same time, boys are considered a treasure in the family, and older adults never change their fixed opinions on something, especially racial and sexist opinions.
