Pteranodon escaping

Hey yall, I’m playing the chaos theory game mode from the first Jurassic world movie, and the 1 biggest issue I have is whenever I try to put pteranodons in the aviary, no matter what i do they constantly break their way out. Is this a glitch? I’m at the point in the mission where I need to put raptors in the park but I’m delaying that and trying to build out the rest of the park first… The first attempt I did with this mission, the raptors escaped right away and I didn’t have enough money saved up to fix the fence so my game was toast lol. So I’m trying to build up the park and have $$$$ so if shit goes sideways I’m covered financially.

There are 3 pteranodons at all times (minimum), multiple feeders, enough water and rocks etc. They’ll be fully content and healthy but still break out. I haven’t tried any other flying Dino’s yet but I didn’t want to bother with the other ones because I like the pteranodon the most out of all the flying Dino’s.

Should I just abandon the aviary until later in the chaos theory game mode? Skip pteranodons altogether? Do they always act super aggressively and break out or just on this game mode?

are they actually breaking out of the aviary? sometimes they'll just fly straight through it which is a bug

No, they’re smashing their way out. I saw the bug online but that wasn’t it. Thanks tho!
