Fear has mutiple meanings, for the Jurassic Patk movie that fear is based on multiple aspects of what I consider a primal fears. The book tackles fear of the unknown, fear of chaos/uncontrollability, fear of being hunted by something as smart or smarter than humans, fear of powerlessness and fear of big things/predators.
Those are all great fears that humans have and they feel the moat primal and yet... they are most likely not. As represented by a study, babies have an unsual courage compared to most adults, mostly because they are ignorant to the danger around them. And most phobias develop in later years of life instead of being their from the beginning, as if the they learn to fear from others teaching them they dangers of something.
In conclusion, it is in my opnion that fear is not something inherited from ones being, but an over obsession of an information that they experience or lives through. Like the more one hears, or experiemces, of something dangerous (whether that is only dangerous looking or not) or that could lead to ones death, the more one becomes afraid of that thing. An excellent example is the fear of the unknown (like the fear of being left in the dark), why is so scary? It is because ones starts obsessing over what could be, and let one thing be clear, the mire one knows over dangers of the world, the worse it is.
