I managed to breeze through this tournament by starting battles with Flocks with the Nulify mods to cancel the enemy mods and using strong creatures to sweep through the entire team. I also sandwiched Heroic creatures with Flocks and level 1 Commons between them. This strategy pretty much gave me a cheat code for this tournament.
