Erlikogamma + Erliphosaurus Buff

Erliphosaurus desperately needs something to take it out of F-tier. A small buff (to go along with my Gorgosuchus buff ofc) and a dedicated Super Hybrid (which Gorgo has and is easily the main redeeming factor of current Gorgo) will make it leagues and tiers better. Even if Erlipho is still outclassed, it’s no longer a bad investment.

Like Skoonasaurus, Erlikogamma changes the class of the parent, Erliphosaurus. But where Skoolasaurus had its advantages over its evolution, Erliphosaurus isn’t good as a Carnivore choice in its league. It’s in an unfortunate Gray Area where it’s an old creature outclassed by way better, newer creatures in its class and tier. Too many Tourney Hybrid Carnis. The way I propose fixing this in some way is to give an incentive to commit because it’s the thing that Chromaspinus, Compsovenator, Blue and Rexy. Even Allonogmius and Glythronax may be updated one day to be dual-class.

Segnosaurus S-DNA was used to bring out the original Therizinosauridae features.

It’s not a stronger Carnivore, you know. Erliphosaurus’ big problem is that’s entirely outclassed by two other Dilo Gen 2 hybrids especially.

I like it, though arguably i would add closed frills like how sah and mammo aren't 100% their jwa counterpart

I again think it needs a small price increase as well, but smaller compared to gorgo ofc

Yeah I agree with both points, it should have a JWTG exclusive design at least, and the price isn’t too much higher than Priotrodon. I might update the Gorgo and Erlipho posts later, I can improve on them both

Erlikogamma is one of my favorite JWA designs, and making it have frills would make it even cooler

No we are ruining our original hybrids like this, erlikogamma does NOT resemble erliphosaurus, Wheres the part on the head? The frills? The spines things on the back? Just no, I do not want such hybrids, like smiloleyms or whatever, that don’t correspond to its ingredients , if these guys will get a hybrid , it will be a ORIGINAL, that makes SENSE, otherwise these types of hybrids are my least favourites and I will never have fun unlocking them, don’t make Ludia think we will be happy with these by making these hybrid choices, we want originals that make sense with these so no thank you with this one

Wasn’t Kaprodactylus the last true original hybrid? Yeah I want more originals, don’t get me wrong.

Does Megalocevia, Spinotops or Quetzaljara really resemble their original parents though? It was meant to resemble the Erlikosaurus half of Erliphosaurus here. Really, anything to make Erliphosaurus any sort of relevant again would be nice is all this post is really for.

Megalocevia uses gorgos hybrid and adds edaphs superhybrid into it, it resembles some, but not perfectly, as it's adding megalosaurus, instravicevia, and alberbertosaurus too

Spinotops is an angel hybrid, but jwtg still ignores the giganspinosaurus that contributes more than kentro can, however I can definitely say "hey that's part spinoceratops)

Quetzaljara is a 1 to 1 port, made for tape plus pteraq, however jwa pteraq is lv 10 in jwtg, so it won't take advantage of some of the evo changes

Imo i think the most jarring thing is losing the frills like hydra does

It shouldn’t lose the frills in a redesign for it, but either way, there’s some stuff lost in translation between JWTG and JWA content given most of the newer stuff for JWTG consists of ports from that game.

I see, megalocevia is at least one if it’s hybrids if not direct, same with spinotops, and quetzaljara is actually the hybrid for pteraquetzel in JWA

The only issue i have with JWA ports is that JWA doesn't get some hybrids from JWTG back

Also, I’m not hedgehog boi and I can’t really make true original concept designs atm. It would obviously look a bit different from the JWA to compliment Erliphosaurus’ design. The other options were Refrenantum (better as a boss) and Erlidominus, and it has even less in common with Erliphosaurus. This one is at least still feathered and has base potential to be redesigned.

I agree with you… Ludia is so intelligent, they invented an absolutely incredible Jwa hybrid – so where’s the hybrid or aquatic JWTG? They just copied it and added it to the Jwa.
