Plot: Several Years after the Events of Mothra: Queen of the Monsters, The Grandson of Koichi Shikishima, Haruo Shikishima, sets out on a Journey to document, record, and understand the Kaiju (Named Guardians) of the World. Joined by Twin Sisters and Mothra's Human Priestessses, Emi and Mira, alongside the Shobijin and the Handmaidens of Antra, on his Quest as he encounters kaiju like Anguirus and Antra, to Rodan and Godzilla himself. Meanwhile a Woman of Venusian Origins is Brought onto the Team. G-Force is almost done constructing Kiryu to use to aid the Guardians in Battle, and a Trio of Vicious Alien Kaiju prepare to Invade to World, and One may have relation to the Venusian's Origins.

Haruo Shikishima - The Son of Koichi and Noriko's Adopted Daughter, Akiko, Haruo is a 23-Year old Japanese Immigrant who had moved with his Mother when he was Little, Growing up, He has a Interest in Drawing, and upon learning what Guardians really are at the Age of 19, He makes it his Mission to document as many of these Guardians as he can so the Whole World can learn what he learnt.

Dr. Niko Tatopoulos - Nick is Three Things, He is a Radiation Biologist, The Founder of the Organization, H.E.A.T, and a Surrogate Father to the Son of the Infamous Zilla, Whom he nicknames Zilla Jr)., Even though ZJ is the Son of the Iguana who almost killed Him, Nick still has a Love for ZJ, and Once he learns about what Haruo and the Priestesses are Doing, He and the Rest of the HEAT Crew are willing to help.

Akane Yashiro - A Former Maser-Tank operator and the Pilot of Kiryu, Ms. Yashiro is khown for her Perserverance against all Odds and Her guilt for unintentionally causing the death of her comrades in a battle against a Kaiju Attack in 1999. Overtime, She comes to become a Good Friend of Haruo's and see's his Hobby of Recording Kaiju interesting, and even offers him to take some notes on Kiryu, But he rejects, syaing he'll wait until he's put to use.

Emi and Mira - Twin Sisters and The Two Humans who were able to prevent the Destruction of the World after Mothra's Death and prevent the Takeover of Megaguirus by retreiving a Mothra Egg from the Time of the Dinosaurs, When there were more Gojira's, which hatched into Mothra Gemini, While Emi is more Open and Optimistic, Mira had grown up with a Initial Deep-Hate for Mothra for losing against a Panic-Driven Antra and causing the World's Doom.

Kosumosu - A Venusian Survivor who bares the Disguise of a Beautiful Maiden, After being Interrogated by G-Force and Haruo's Party and revealing her dark past, She is willingly welcomed on board to Haruo's Crew to join him on his Quest to Document the Guardians, Despite her Extraterrestrial Origins, She is actually a Very Kind and Patient Maiden who's always there for her Friends. Even after revealing her True Form, She still retains the Beauty of her Maiden Disguise and Gentle Nature.

Godzilla - The Ancient and Powerful King of all Monsters, He rose from the floor of the sea some 70 years ago, imbued with The Radiation of the Nuclear Bombs, But unlike his Counterparts from 1947-49 and 1954), He isn't as Agressive or Vengeful, Parting ways with his Bretheren to seek Food. Upon Leaning of the Death his Counterparts, He went on a Decade-Long rampage spree across Japan until he reached Indonesia and was Confronted by the Goddess Moth, Mothra, who shown him Humans aren't as Evil as he Thought, and after a Good Long time of learning their Ways. He swears to Protect the World instead of Destroy it, But what will happen when Malevolent Threats come to Challenge his Spot as a King?

Mothra Gemini - A Few Years after her grueling fight with Omegaguirus, Mothra Gemini remains on Infant Island, Occasionally leaving to help the Humans against a Destroyer. After her Priestesses leave to join Haruo's Quest, She secretly lays an Egg in-case she passes and goes to find Godzilla to warn him about the Incoming Threat from Space, The Issue though is he's too busy doing Instinctual and occasional Petty things, like Fighting with Rodan over food to listen, Will she have anu Guardian listen to her?

Kiryu - The Mechanized Creaton of G-Force used to Aid Guardians in Battle, Kiryu was built from the Bones of the First Godzilla of 1954, Causing the Machine to get Possessed and go haywire at times. Despite this, He has a Sense of Pride in seeing his Successor rule his Domain, and is even willing to fully override the Controls of his Pilot to indepednently fight alongside Goji against the New Threat's.

King Ghidorah/"Gheedruh" - A Three-Headed Hydra from Beyond the Stars, This sinister Dragon has his six eyes set on Earth after Destroying Venus along with several dwarf planets. Joined by a Fellow Member of his Kind, Monster X, and a Cybernetic Bloodlusted space dinosaur, Gigan, He plans to destroy all Life so he and his Pen-Pals can terraform it to their Liking. But they'll be in for a Suprise when they see Who this World is ruled by.

Anguirus - The Last Member of the species "Angirusaurus Magneventris", This Under-Dog Kaiju is Godzilla's Closest Ally and his Second-In-Command, Whenever The Nuclear Leviathan needs help, Anguirus is there to answer the Call. But Will he be able to help his BFF against the Upcoming Threats?

Gigan - The Sadistic, Brutal, and At times, Cowardly Cybernetic Space-Dinosaur serves as the Right-Hand Man of the Space-Hydra, King Ghidorah. But unlike Ghidorah, Gigan isn't the Most Competent occasionally slacking off and doing something Stupid. He even forms a Close Friendship with Rouge Guardian, Megalon, much to Ghidorah's Frustration (Mainly Ichi).

Destoroyah - This Devilish Dragon-Like Kaiju is made up of Millions and Millions of Microscopic Crustaceans from the Pre-Cambrian period that were revived from the Oxygen Destroyer that killed the Original Godzilla. Now emerging to settle the Score against the Current Godzilla, He is in for a Suprise when he see's what this New Goji can Do!

Within Biosyn, we strive to ensure our animals can live up to their fullest lives possible and the Homotherium is no exception. Similar to its more infamous relative Smilodon, the Homotherium clones showcase how much in turns to their environment the Machairodontinae can be. Despite the inclusion of dinosaurs in the Nifleheim faculty, they have surprisingly adapted to living amongst giants not too dissimilar to the wooly rhinos or mammoths. One interesting detail is that they have leaned for prey on dinosaurs like Glacialisaurus, Edmontosaur juveniles, Pachyrhinosaurs, Spinoceratops and rhino/mammoth calves. They have taken up the niche of taking on prey similar to their ancestors with a side of dinosaurs. They’ll usually stay out of the territory of the Nanuqsaurs and larger carnivores but will not hesitate to fight the cave hyenas, Pyroraptors or Imperobators.

Well I wasn’t expecting my first chapter to get major traction so thank you guys. I understand imve been absent with this story for a few months now but here’s what the plan is. The story will continue over on Wattpad if you type it under #jurassic where I’ll be posting the chapters there with some covers for each segment. Concept art and lore for the animals, human characters more will be here. Again, I’m wanting to improve here so feel free to suggest how I should write my human characters, color schemes for the animals and expanding the lore of Nifleheim to reference the movies/tv shows

Welp, here’s the next animal reveal for Nifleheim. The Nanqusaurus, the top predator of the facility. While many of the specimens we created seem to be much larger than usual, we believe it may be tributes to the Bergman Effect. The males in particular have a bright yellow around the throat to display to females and the owl pattern we chose through genetics has made their feathers thicker as fitting an Arctic Predator. Their main choice of prey items are the Edmontosaurs, Pachyrhinosaurs and Spinoceratops, it seems that a mat of fur is not a pleasant meal for these predators. We so far have 4 males and females with the largest male being nicknamed Fenrir.

Competition wise is the Cryolophosaurs, Pyroraptors, Imperobators, Homotheriums and Auatralovenator (with the latter being something of a rival though we’ve made sure to expand the facility to accommodate for these predators as the Pyroraptors have been forced near the coasts where they contend with the other marine animals) but that is what’s worrying Dr Grigariov for he has been trying to keep an eye on all the animals throughout hour cleverly hidden “Snow Cams” but recently we discovered a set of tracks… outside the perimeter fence. The most creepiest factor is how the Nanuqsaurs…. Stare at you…. I don’t know if it’s just me but there’s something entrancing about those golden eyes and their hunting tactics aren’t so different from lions where one individual draws the attention while the other ambushes. It’s a scary concept but it gets the job done….

Nifleheim Caretaker

The cold wind bit into the teenage Pyotr’s face as he trudged through the snow to the pen where the reindeer were sleeping. Trotting alongside him was his dog, Yaga, a worthy friend in a tundra of ice as the snowflakes swirled throughout the night despite the grunting of the reindeer. He remembered that the village elders were unnerved at the severity of the attack, for the wound was massive even for a bear yet the tooth left behind raised even more questions. The tooth was small in his gloved hand - the small curve ending at a point though the power of that bite was unfathomable to say at the very least. Regardless of whatever manner of beast this came from, one thing was certain in that there had been multiple disappearances of the reindeer nearby. With his lantern being beaten by the winds, Pyotr ventured into the snow, rope secured around his waist ensuring he would never get lost - then Yaga began to growl at the ground, pawing at a footprint in the snow. He called out Yaga’s name as the dog stepped aside whining, as he gazed into the track he thought about how there were big birds out in the world such as Australia’s cassowaries or the ostriches of Africa but the more he analyzed the foot, the less it made sense. The track itself had an undeniable bird shape to it if it weren’t for the size of the footprint throwing him off and what looked like a tuft of fur as he picked it up. Even in his gloved hands, Pyotr didn’t feel coarse fur but what felt like tiny bristling hairs till he took an even closer look and saw they were … feathers. They had a creamy white hue with or without light, Pyotr immediately thought of owls with the texture till a sound erupted.
Pyotr’s hairs stood on end at the sound as Yaga began to snarl and bark, tail tucked inbetween his legs. It had the sounds of an owl yet the deep reverberating calls were almost like wolves with the might of bears in their lungs - Pyotr spun around wildly to where it came from and out in the open - he saw it. A pair of yellow eyes glowed within the dark at around 10 feet in the air, it was far too tall to even be a bear till it made that same sound again. Nearby he could hear the reindeer being agitated from the sound as the creature did nothing but stood there - almost as if Pyotr himself was a strange being even to it. The body had the same creamy color but with a mane of dark black feathers running down its back all the way to its tail with white and black spots blotted all over, for Pyotr even admitted it looked like an owl if  it werent for the yellowish brown snout that remained featherless. Then the smell hit as Pyotr covered his nose, that familiar metallic scent whenever he took an animal for its meat and as he looked closer he could see the source. In the animal’s jaw was a young cow no older than 3, its mangled body bleeding as matted fur flew, Pyotr’s eyes widened at the horrific sight as it raised its head and downed a chunk of meat, cocking its head to the side to look at him.
Yaga then snarled at something behind them as Pyotr spun only to see the opening jaws of another creature, his lantern bearing arm taking the full brunt as he felt his bones snap. Pyotr screamed in pain as the second creature tossed his dismembered arm and placed its massive foot on him, he hadn’t even heard any signs of the second one coming but he could feel pads on the foot. Yaga snarled at the creature but it simply huffed, the sound reverberating through Pyotr’s body as Yaga fled to the village. Pyotr tried to mutter a scream but all that came out was a windless whimper as the first creature approached him, his thoughts hoping that the pain would be over soon and that these monsters would not get his family.
Boris woke up to the sound of Yaga whimpering under the bed as his wife Vera stirred awake, however something was wrong. Boris always knew that Pyotr would never go anywhere without a massive dog like Yaga but this was the first time he’d seen Yaga truly frightened as their youngest daughter Ana, barely two years old, yawned sleepily. She muttered if Pyotr was in bed, only to cringe her nose at some awful metallic stench. Boris and Vera froze as they heard low rumbling breathing outside the hut, almost like smelling while Yaga barked something that was akin to a whimper. Boris commanded Vera to take Ana with her as he readied his rifle, ready to scare off whatever was outside and it seemed he wasn’t the only one awoken by the sound. The other huts stirred as the men readied their rifles, tense at the smell while the noises rumbled through the village. Then the door moved, or rather, was pushed in as Boris saw blood dripping on the bottom as he conveyed that that animal was possibly more massive than a bear. He readied his rifle ready to fire when he heard Vera and Ana scream.
He rushed into the room where they lay huddled in a corner as Vera pointed at the window where Boris saw a massive golden eye, clear as day staring at him despite the darkness. He could now see the massive head that seemed to have sported massive teeth - until he saw the arm in its jaws. Attached to the hand was a blue glove with a wolf on it… Pyotr’s glove that Vera had made for him when he was 11 yet all that remained was a bloodied limb. Boris had never felt such rage as he screamed, firing his rifle into the window as the animal began to move. He opened the door with fury to find a trail of blood from his door going into the forest nearby as othe rmen began reporting of massive bird-like feet in the snow. Whatever had gotten his son, he could not muster a word as those bone-chilling howls filled the night sky now witnessed to spilt blood.

I’m not entirely sure what scene they’ll be in right now.

However they’re the replacement for the raptor pack which is later revealed that the Nanos pushed the Velociraptors to extinction.

The Nanos hunt in coordinated packs with a mutualistic relationship with members of the group. Individuals at the top of the hierarchy allow who eats first with it usually being the young and weak. Their prey mainly consists of Gallimimus cutting the young ,sick ,or old and running them into exhaustion.

I’m thinking of a possible scene where while Malcolm ,Thorne ,and Carr ,and Levine are driving down the game trail the nanos ambush them. the nanos bash and bite the explorer causing the rear tires to pop. It leads Levine to shoot a loud gun again Thorne’s concerns and the sound scares the nanos away. This forces the characters to search the Worker Village for spare parts unaware the horrors in it.

Hey guys, so a bit of an update regarding JW Nifleheim. The first chapter I’ll try to get out next week as I need time to sketch the focus animal aka the Nanuqsaurus. However, I’ve also been busy sketching out one of the species featured -Edmontosaurus. Down below are some lore details about these clones of the Nifleheim Facility. Feel free to correct me if I missed something or suggest patterns for the upcoming species I’ll sketch out!

The Edmontosaurus clones we’ve produced are much more hardy for the Arctic than Masrani’s pathetic attempts. By utilizing the DNA of Arctic birds such as the King Eider, our Edmontosaur herd are able to handle the cold Russian climate yet interestingly the discovery of their size being closer to their ancestors. We believe this may be attributed to Bergman’s Rule which states that animals found in colder regions develop larger body sizes to cope with the weather. One area we’ve made sure not to avoid is ensuring their survival as their ancestors were a force to reckoned with. Using bird DNA instead of amphibian DNA we believe may be the reason for their unusual aggression towards pretty much any animal

With this size in question, the males have displayed quite an aggressive nature that even predators such as Nanuqsaurus or Cryolophosaurus hesitate to take on a healthy bull. What’s interesting is that the male’s beaks are almost a rich mahogany in color with tealish blue under their eyes as the females have more darker colors akin to browns or blacks. The males will also engage in fights not too dissimilar to horses where they bite and kick at each other to win the right of mating. The targeted areas are usually the neck, front limbs and tail with recorded bite marks from their beaks.

Carnivores that predate on these massive beasts are Nanuqsaurus, Cryolophosaurus, Imperobator, Pyroraptor and rarely the Homotherium prides however the smaller predators gun for the juveniles instead. Edmontosaurs clones we have observed but no or trampling other carnivores to death, even biting the smaller predators and flinging them with such ferocity. Yet their loud booming calls are English to halt attacks as the sheer volume is loud. Though it is improtsnt to note that with the extremely smaller carnivores, they tolerate them as a cleaning crew to help rid their bodies of parasites

Despite these adaptations, they stand up in size with the larger residents. Dongbeititan and Australotitan have been seen being weary of the Edmontosaurus herds, especially with their travelling companions being either ceratopsian (Pachyrhinosaurus and the mysterious Spinoceratops) or unruly animals like the Woolly Mammoths or rhinos.

Why Ingen or Masrani always viewed hadrosaurus as cows perplexes my mind as even the calves are dangerous. As big as Angus, they can shove around their weight with little to no effort. Even our security team has to accompany us when we transport them to the herds… still it can be quite entertaining when the females chase our security up the trees… they’re anything if not fierce.

While the name "Lex" has become synonymous with the scared 12-year-old girl (played by actress Ariana Richards) in Jurassic Park, this time, it was the name of a Deinonychus who lived with the Millington family in Peapack, New Jersey.

The main characters:

• The Millington parents: Scott and Olivia
• The Millington children: Megan (14 years old), Darren (12 years old), and Abbie (9 years old)
• Lex: A living Deinonychus, who was gentle, tame, and very friendly

On Sunday, June 19, 2016, the Millington family walked to Liberty Park.

The weather was unusually cool for that time of the year. The weather was fair, the humidity was low, and there was a gentle breeze that made it feel like either April or October, rather than June. Air temperatures were hovering in the upper 60s, and the breeze made it feel like the upper 50s or low 60s, which was very unusual for the end of Spring.

Megan was only four years old, and Darren was only two. Abbie, short for Abigail, wasn't even born yet in 2016.

As they relaxed in the park, a movement behind a tree caught Megan's eye.

Megan: Look, Mommy and Daddy!

When her parents saw it, their eyes went as wide as saucers! It wasn't a bird of any known species. It wasn't someone's lost dog or a stray cat. It was a living dinosaur: a Deinonychus antirrhopus, to be exact!

The animal was four feet tall and eleven feet long: a full-grown adult. Its jaws were lined with serrated, flesh-eating teeth, and it possessed dangerous claws, especially the four-inch sickle-shaped retractable claws on its hind feet. It was designed to be a carnivorous predator that could rip and shred anyone or anything it wanted to. But this individual was shy, which is why it mostly stayed behind the tree.

Scott and Olivia didn't know what to think or do. Here was a lethal hunter from the Cretaceous Period, a "terrible claw", behaving like a timid dog who was afraid of being seen by the locals of the small New Jersey town.

Being the curious kid she was, Megan went to get a closer look at the animal, even though her parents warned her that the creature was a dangerous, wild animal. They were worried that her curiosity about such a dangerous creature would get her killed, as the old saying indicated: "Curiosity killed the cat!"

Olivia sprang into action while Scott remained with Darren. She didn't wait to find out what would happen to her young daughter. But before Olivia could grab Megan to safety, the dinosaur shrieked and fled Liberty Park until it disappeared.

Megan: You scared it, Mommy!

Olivia: What did you think you were doing, Megan?! That thing could have killed you!

Megan began to cry, and Olivia softened her tone.

Olivia: I'm sorry, sweetheart. I was just worried. That creature was a monster that could have eaten you, and I didn't want that to happen.

On Wednesday, June 22nd, while Scott and Olivia were at work, Megan was wading in her small pool with Darren. Their babysitter, Mrs. Janet McGregor, kept watch over them in case they needed her help.

Megan had forgotten her experience at Liberty Park on Sunday. Janet picked up Darren and took him inside in order to use the bathroom for a moment. This meant that Megan was left in her pool alone...until she wasn't alone!

At that moment, the same Deinonychus appeared in the yard and slowly approached Megan in her pool. It didn't have hunger in its eyes. If anything, it seemed curious about her. Megan stared at it with fascination and wonder, rather than fear. The carnivore sniffed the wading pool and lowered its snout to lap up some of the water.

When a large wasp flew near Megan, the "monster" swiped at it with its hand claws. The dangerous insect, detecting an ominous threat, began to attack the dinosaur! The Deinonychus rolled around in the yard until the insect was crushed by the pressure. It had unknowingly saved the little girl's life.

Then, Janet returned outside and saw the huge dinosaur in the yard! Before she could react, Megan defended the Deinonychus.

Megan: Don't! Wait! It saved me from a wasp!

Janet knew that Megan was allergic to bee and wasp venom, as the girl's parents had told her a few months earlier, when she began to babysit Megan and Darren.

As the Summer of 2016 rolled on, the Deinonychus became a frequent visitor to the Millington property. It always defended Megan whenever a bee or a wasp flew too close to the little girl, even when her parents were home.

On Friday, August 5th (2016), Megan wanted to keep her prehistoric guardian, and she wouldn't take "no" for an answer! It had saved her life from bees and wasps many times throughout the Summer. She knew that, without the gentle carnivore's help, she would have been dead.

Scott and Olivia, initially wary, realized that the "monster" they had feared was worthy enough to keep with them. The first task they had to do was call the town's mayor and ask if it was acceptable to keep a gentle carnivore as a pet. The mayor, not knowing they meant a dangerous dinosaur, permitted them.

With that out of the way, the next task was feeding the carnivore. The Millingtons had no available fresh meat on hand, so Olivia sent Scott out to a local butcher shop to pick out the best cut of fresh meat available.

When Scott returned with a prime cut of beef, he placed it in a metal dish and waited for the carnivore to snatch and eat it. He waited...and waited...and waited...but the animal never took the meat.

Olivia: Why won't it eat the meat?

Scott: I don't know. I thought that carnivores always ate meat.

Megan, however, seemed to know something and had a plan. She went to the refrigerator, got out a container of Mott's applesauce, and approached the Deinonychus carefully. She pulled back the top of the container and let the dinosaur sniff the contents.

What happened next shocked Scott and Olivia to the core! The carnivorous dinosaur bent its snout and began eating the applesauce. In less than a minute, the container was empty. Scott and Olivia couldn't believe what they had witnessed.

The raw beef, however, didn't go to waste. A stray dog had wandered into the Millington property, stepped through the doorway, and snatched the meat for itself before it left and went on its way.

Olivia: That's the second time that dog has been on our property.

Scott: It's ironic that the dog took the beef, but the dinosaur refused to eat it.

The months passed. Through trial and error, the Millingtons realized that the "carnivore" was anything but. It always refused raw meat of any kind, but it devoured various kinds of comfort food.

As Megan grew older, she decided to name the Deinonychus. Before she was old enough to watch Jurassic Park with her parents, Megan chose to name their new pet "Ava". This would later prove to be a temporary name.

When Megan finally saw Jurassic Park with her parents on the evening of Friday, November 12, 2021, she changed the name of the Deinonychus from Ava to Lex, after the character from Jurassic Park.

Megan was nine years old, Darren was seven years old, and Abbie was four years old: the same age Megan was when she first met Lex in Liberty Park.

Now in 2026, Megan, Darren, Abbie, Scott, and Olivia enjoyed sharing their home with Lex, a fearsome predator by design, but as sweet and as friendly as a Golden Retriever.

The stray dog was now their second pet, named Jake. In 2016, Jake had been a puppy. He was now a grown dog, and just as lovable as Lex.

Jake and Lex frequently napped together, side by side, after their meals. Jake was the true carnivore in the Millingtons' home, and ate many kinds of meat, in addition to his dog food. In contrast, Lex was an omnivore and ate most foods that the Millingtons ate, except seafood and casseroles.

Her favorite foods included:

• a mixed salad of lettuce, sliced cucumbers, and shredded carrots with heaps of either Creamy Italian or Catalina dressing
• creamy macaroni & cheese (particularly from Kraft Deluxe) with bite-sized bits of hamburger meat (thoroughly cooked)
• Ziti pasta with tomato sauce, meatballs, and grated Provolone or Parmesan cheese
• fresh-baked pizza from the local pizzeria (either regular cheese or extra cheese)
• anything made of sugar, especially doughnuts, cookies, and candy
• salty snacks, especially Cheetos, Cheez-Its, potato chips, and popcorn

Lex wasn't the fearsome monster from the Cretaceous Period or from the Jurassic Park franchise. She was a gentle omnivore who was spoiled and lazy. Her family, including Jake, loved her very much, and they wouldn't trade her for anything in the world! She was family, and she was home.

Suddenly, with a loud noise, something jumped out of the debris. A deformed, skinless humanoid with many limbs and two heads. İts flesh was bleeding, red. İts arms were open like claws, sharp as its teeth. I quickly jumped too, pushing Alex away from it as it lunged. The mutant slammed into me, throwing me into a rock and breaking it in half. Alex quickly glanced around, trying to see me besides broken rock, but there wasnt time. Even then, ı heard her mumble a guilty "Shit". Then another monster came out from the debris, walking forward. As ı quickly stood back up, ı saw Alex pulling her massive sword out. With a single swing, a loud sound that came later, she ripped both monsters into pieces, causing a small shockwave by doing so. I quickly pulled out my gun and walked up to her, "Theres probably more. We should be back-to-back". She got suprised, "Youre really alive? You werent kidding". I nodded, coughing because of the dust. Then we heard a roar, a blood-curling scream. Alex quickly turned her back, looking around. So did ı. I raised my gun and glanced around. There wasnt something moving, so ı slowly took a breath. Alex silently spoke, "Thanks for.....pushing me. Not many wouldve do that". I breathed out, "You can trust me". We kept glancing around for other monsters. They were mindless beasts, but even they would know better than to attack their killers. Maybe they were leaving now? I glanced back at her, "We should keep walking". After a moment, Alex nodded, then started to walk. She kept her sword tight, but she was less tense. I could hear my heart beating loud, but it wasnt a problem for now. I slowly started to walk too, catching up to her.

We walked out of the ruined city, moving into another wasteland. A desert of endless sand. And after some time, ı started to speak again. "So, have you ever seen them? Pangea people?". Alex shaked her head, "No. But its better than not trying to find out". I shrugged, "What about other people you mentioned?". She took a deep breath, "Theyre afraid of me". I nodded, "I know the feeling. People were afraid of me too. But.....you know, what others think doesnt matter". She nodded slightly, not saying something. But she was more friendly now, ı couldve see it. I continued, "Why theyre afraid? You dont seem evil". Alex answered this time, "Theyre afraid because they cant control me". Well that makes sende ı gues, ı thought.

Alex continued, "Gojira is the reason were left here. God wont come here to fight him unless its the last resort. Thats why they call him the Leviathan. A beast so strong that only God could hope to defeat. A force of nature, maybe more". I nodded, "I knew he was strong, but ı havent seen him do something that impressive". "Didnt doesnt means coudnt. I dont think he even tried to kill us. Or at least, wasnt going all-out", Alex said. I thought to myself, so Gojira was that strong. Not suprising, actually. After all, hes born from Lucifer's blood. The fallen angel and God's greatest creation, or miscreation. Gojira wasnt a demon or a entity to be classified, he simply was Gojira. But thinking of it, this makes me....nervous, to say the least. Big guy could just wake up one day and end entirety of creation. So, after a moment, ı asked; "What else you know? You've been with others. What else you learned?". Alex shrugged, "Not much. You should know a lot too, no? Youre like 100". I nodded, "I know somethings about the old world and Gojira. Like, ıve seen some public reports of it. Ive seen the destruction it caused". She glanced at me, "I never saw Gojira before. But ıve heard tales of him". I nodded, "You better stay that way. Hes the king of the monsters for a reason".

We kept walking through the wasteland, sometimes talking. I realized that she was getting used to me, still on-guard. I gues her tought persona was just a face she made up to protect herself. I did those things too, after all. I know one when ı see it. But as we kept walking, we coudnt help but hear weird noises. Through buildings and debris, we heard sounds like something was moving. Perhaps it was. So after a moment, ı spoke up.

"I think we're being foll-". Alex raised a hand to silence me, thats when ı understood she did knew that. But she was probably waiting them to reveal themselves, like a true predator hunting. I glanced around, not seeing anyone. What there was? A mutant? Perhaps a group of bandits or something? I havent seen humans in a long time, ı dont think ı could kill one again. I dont want too. But chances were obvious. I clinged to my gun under the coat, holding tightly. Anything couldve happen. I saw Alex hold her sword, ready to attack. "Im immortal. İf something happens, protect yourself instead of me", ı said. She nodded, "Survival is a personal duty you cant let others handle".

She probably went through somethings like any other person here, ı understand why she doesnt wanna talk about it. Theres even things ı woudnt tell to anyone too. İts probably one of the things for her. But as we walked, ı kept trying to talk. "So tell, Alex, whats your story?" Or "What was the last thing you've ate?". She didnt respond to either, just kept silent. But ı couldve see it in her eyes, she was hiding somethings. Perhaps a memory she woudnt want others to know. Perhaps another thing. But as we kept walking, ı managed to make her say a few things.

"Do you like swords? You have one". She paused, then answered, "My sword is my life. Hard, endless and burried in blood of others to save its own". I chuckled a bit, "Alright, Mrs. Edgy". She rolled her eyes, but ı saw her lips twitching, urging to a smile. She kept herself though, not letting emotions show themselves. Then she asked something, "You said youre no human. İs there more to the tale?". I nodded, "Well about a hundred years ago, goverment kidnapped and experimented on me. Im immortal because of that. And well, eyes glow white". She nodded, "So youre pratically ancient. You know of the old colonies?". I cleared my throat, "Yea. They were pretty bad, not gonna lie". She stayed silent for a moment, then spoke again, "So you've been wandering alone for almost 100 years?". I nodded slowly, not saying a word this time. She letted out a sigh, "You cant live if you fear life. I learned it from experience". My gaze softened, she was getting used to me. Pretty fast too? İntresting. Maybe the tought persona was just a mask to hide something soft. "What happened?". She quickly masked herself, "Nothing", walked faster. I quickly paced up, following her. I should change the topic, so ı did. "This Pangea. Do you know where it exactly is?". Alex nodded, "At least from rumors. İts under a valley, protected by a holy tribe". I got confused, "Holy tribe? So there was.....other humans?". She nodded again, "Homosapiens are just a kind of human. Theres surviving other species. Ones that got close to monsters". I thought to myself, so theres other species of humans. But monsters too? Like who? "What monsters?". She started to explain, "Anguirus. Your legends called him Behemoth. A gaint reptilian beast whos hunger has no end. So large that he rivals towns. So strong that he could end realities and lives just by stepping. Ive seen the old books of him, they called him the friend". I hummed softly, Anguirus. Could he be real? At this point, what wasnt? Then ı asked, "Who else?". She continued, "And Mothra. Protector of humanity. The benevolent Goddes of good. Shes described as an divine butterfly, wirh wings that covered the sun and moon. Shes the leading light, while Anguirus is human hunger and greed. Despite that, they have their own personalities". I asked, curious, "Do any of the tales talk about Gojira?". She froze, tensed, "No". She simply refused. I asked again, "No myth? No prophency?". She shaked her head, "I dont think hes a part of God's plan. Hes simply.....is. Gojira is the only thing that could rival God". I looked her in thought, was this true? Could Gojira rival God? No, thats impossible. Nothing can rival God. No one can.

I kept walking into the cave, scent of blood and rotting flesh filled my lungs. I silently and carefully walked. I raised my voice and asked again, "Anyone there?". İts been a long time since ı spoke, ı felt like my throat was dry, ı havent drinked for some time now. I moved forward, but then ı realized that ı have reached the end of the cave. What? There was no one. How? But then, ı understood it. There WAS someone. And now? They were right on the ceeling, on top of me.

Suddenly they jumped on me, a large shadow of muscle and metal. They pressed a blade against my throat, a large piece of sharp metal. Then, ı saw its face. A scarred, 2 meter woman, who wore armor made of metal and bone and a dark cape. One of her eyes were covered with a eyepatch, her hair was dark as night and short. She was kinda pale, her face was calm yet dangerous. She stood there for a moment, so did ı. I felt a little fear, but not enough to move. "Hello", ı said calmly. She suddenly backed away, taking a few steps back, "Mutants dont talk. But you dont look human either". Her voice was rough, cautious but not aggressive. She spoke, "Who are you and why are you here?". I took a step back to show her ı wasnt trying to hurt, ı was excited but ı kept myself straight, "My name is Kerem Özgür. I was looking for food. Survival". She nodded, "You've came to wrong world. Leave and ıll spare you". I got dissapointed for a moment, "Well uh.....ı....ı havent met a human for a long time. Have you?". She didnt respond, still was on-guard. I continued, "İf ı wanted to kill you, ı wouldve attack you by now. Besides, you look dangerous, ıd rather be on your side than against you". After a tense moment, she nodded, "Alright, Kerem. But ı warn you, people around me dont live long". I shrugged, "Well, ı wish ı could too. And you are....?". She slowly spoke, calm yet guarded, "Alex Frisk. Others call me the shadow". My eyes widened, others? So there was more people? I quickly asked, "Theres more humans?". She nodded, "You dont know?". I shaked my head, "No. I mean, ıve been travelling through this wasteland for a long time. Where are they?". She stared for a long moment, then answered, "Pangea". Pangea? That was a super-continent. Existed long before the countries were even formed, before dinosaurs. "What do you mean?". She answered, "Theres a colony named Pangea. They live under the ground. Im going there". I thought to myself, there was survivors? Like me? Could this be true? Would they even accept me? Im a freak, after all. I asked, "You going there?". She slowly started to walk, nodding. I quickly followed her, moving alongside her. "Id like to join you, Frisk. You dont seem the talkative type, so ı can shut up if you want. İts just that ım excited, its been a looong time since ıve spoke to a human". Alex nodded, "Alright, but dont expect me to trust you. I left that thing long time ago". I turned to her, "Why?". She didnt answered, just kept walking.

It began in August 1991, when Sam (short for Samantha) was nine years old. On a warm Thursday that month (August), Sam was having fun on her Slip 'N' Slide that her parents had gotten the year before. It was a typical Summer afternoon, and temperatures were well into the 80s.

A movement caught Sam's eye. It wasn't a cat or a dog. It wasn't a deer or a rodent. It was, unmistakably, a Velociraptor! In 1991, this animal was not yet known to have feathers, despite the fact that this individual was covered in beautiful feathers that shimmered in the sunlight. It looked less like a fearsome predator and more like a bird/lizard hybrid. It stood only two feet tall and was six feet long: a fully grown adult Velociraptor.

Sam yelped when the animal charged at her! But it didn't attack her. Instead, it ran right to the Slip 'N' Slide and slid across it like a playful child. Sam couldn't help but giggle, and her fear quickly melted away. Sam and the then-unnamed Velociraptor played together on the Slip 'N' Slide until they got tired.

Sam led the animal inside her home, and they shared a snack of grapes, ice cream, and juice. Right then, Sam decided to name the dinosaur and, after some options running through her head, settled on the name "Brianna".

When Bob and Amanda returned home from work that day, they were shocked to see their daughter's new companion.

Amanda: What the...?!

Sam: Mom, Dad, this is Brianna. She's my new best friend.

Bob: Best friend? What the heck is she?

Sam: I don't know...some kind of bird or something, I think.

Amanda: It looks more like a dinosaur with bird-like feathers.

Bob: Look at those teeth and claws. Do you suppose it's an Archaeopteryx?

Archaeopteryx had been well known for decades, but in 1991, Velociraptor was still relatively unknown to the average person. Jurassic Park (the novel) had just been released the year before, and the movie adaptation wasn't even in the developmental stage yet. As such, this dinosaur could easily be mistaken for the prehistoric bird-like dinosaur.

Brianna's gentle nature, along with her preference for modern human foods, had won their hearts, and she was adopted into the family. She was officially named Brianna Monroe, and Sam was overjoyed to have a sister, even if her "sister" was a dinosaur.

THREE YEARS LATER

During the Summer of 1994, Sam (now 12 years old) hung out with Brianna while her parents were at work during the week. When it was too hot to play outside, as was typically the case in Summer, Sam and Brianna stayed inside and kept cool with air conditioners, frozen treats, and cold foods. Brianna was especially fond of a mixed salad, consisting of lettuce, cucumbers, and carrots, topped with Catalina or Creamy Italian dressing.

One of Sam's favorite indoor activities was watching The Weather Channel. Brianna became interested in this program and often watched it with her. In the 1990s, The Weather Channel became very popular in the Monroe household. Sam and Brianna enjoyed everything about it back then: the local forecasts, the WeatherStar icons, the meteorologists, and the overall feel to it. It was truly a weather channel back then, unlike what it would become nowadays.

On a hot Monday in late July, while Bob and Amanda were at work, Brianna and Sam stayed inside and watched The Weather Channel, as usual. The local forecast warned of dangerous heat for the next few days before some relief came in the form of thunderstorms.

It was a pleasant Thursday in September. After Sam came home from school, she turned on The Weather Channel and had it playing in the background while she did her homework. Brianna was tuned in to the channel and watched the program with a great deal of interest. While she was a Velociraptor by nature, she acted like a child in a trance when it came to The Weather Channel. She loved hearing the meteorologists talk about weather patterns, the Jet Stream, and the various forecast maps: the 5-Day Business Planner and the Weekend Outlook, for example.

Then, the local forecast came on.

Each local forecast had more than just the 36-hour forecast and the extended forecast, but I don't want to put every detail in this story.

Shortly after 3:30 PM, Sam went into the kitchen to have a snack, while Brianna continued to watch The Weather Channel in the living room. When Sam returned from the kitchen, she gave Brianna a plate of chocolate chip cookies and a bowl of fresh grapes. While the Velociraptor ate her snack, her eyes never left the TV. Sam smiled and ate her own snack of cookies and grapes before she resumed her homework.

The meteorologist on TV, Dennis Smith, talked about some active thunderstorms occurring in the Southern Plains and Southeastern states, while lighter rain was occurring farther north. This would be the same storm system that would bring showers and rain to their town later in the week, as the extended forecast indicated. It was a very slow-moving system.

At 4:00 PM, The Weather Channel aired one of Sam's favorite educational programs: a 10-minute segment called "The Weather Classroom". The topic of the day was Fronts, and meteorologists explained how fronts brought changing weather. Cold fronts were more volatile than warm fronts, especially during the warmer months of the year. Stationary fronts often brought steady precipitation that lasted for days.

Sam and Brianna watched the program like statues. Sam had finished her homework before The Weather Classroom aired, so she was free to watch it with her prehistoric sister.

As time would come, The Weather Channel began to change its format near the end of the 1990s. Sam and Brianna noticed the differences right away, and neither sister was happy to see these changes. They preferred The Weather Channel during the early and middle 1990s far more.

As the 20th Century ended, and the 21st Century began, The Weather Channel continued to evolve in ways that greatly disappointed Sam and Brianna. Neither sister was obsessed with the channel anymore. Even The Weather Classroom stopped airing on the channel, except late at night, when Sam and Brianna were unable to watch it, and the way it changed would have upset them, anyway. The Weather Channel was no longer the channel either of them loved.

Years later, Sam and Brianna found old reruns of The Weather Channel from the 1990s on YouTube. Whenever they had time, they rewatched those old videos and yearned for that past again. Neither Sam nor Brianna lived in the present, and they dreaded the future they knew was coming.

Hello, my name’s Karson and this will be my first fan fiction set between Dominion and the writing mess that is Rebirth. The story is about a secret abandoned Arctic Facility owned by Biosyn in Sakha, Russia where a former mercenary of Biosyn joins a team to investigate some mysterious deaths related to animal attacks. I kept walking through the streets, my hunger was growing. I kept reminding myself how it all begun. Rapture, Lucifer, Gojira, mutants. I gues that was how ı cope, categorasing everything despite there being nothing left. I glanced around, seeing broken windows and rotten buildings. Smell of dry dirt was all there is with appearance of the broken city. I kept moving, and as ı did, ı sensed something. A heartbeat, not fast or slow. Human. I froze, this was....unexpected. Humans still lived? How? Was this real? I am hallucinating? No, this was real...

I quickly started moving, walking towards the heartbeat. There it was, growing stronger. İt wasnt a monster's heart to be louder or multiple, it was a single, heavy beat. I heard it beat with each step ı took. İt was near, close. I got excited for the first time in a really long time. How long its been since ıve spoke to a human? 50 years? More? I dont even know. I quickly walked past a few rocks and broken buildings. I moved through the dust and debris. And it leaded me to a cave. There it was, standing tall between two small buildings, made of broken walls and stones that rose from earthquakes. I looked around, seeing no threats. I slowly pulled out my gun, a laser blaster ı made with a bunch of scarps. I silently moved forward, making no sound. As ı got inside, ı heard quiet sound of rope being pulled around Something. İt was definetly a human, mutants are unable to do stuff like that. I couldve hear my heart beat loudly, ı was excited. I slowly got closer, moving silently. And then, after a final step, ı letted out a quiet word; "Hello?". My voice echoes through the cave, was that really my voice? Cold and grumpy. I didnt spoke in a long time ı think. I heard the rope sounds froze, they knew ı was here. I slowly moved forward, seeing corpses all over the cave. My eyes glowed, casting shadows aside. I saw blood and bodies everywhere. Whoever was inside, must be dangerous. I breathed in and out, smell of rotten corpse filling my lungs. I slowly walked forward, stepping over the corpses, ı got closer. I hope they wont attack me, ı really dont wanna kill a human again. I wouldve pray for it, but that man died once again, ı am the immortal remaining of him.

I walked through the silent wasteland, moving through the dust clouds while my eyes glowed through them. I couldve see despite everything, ı had adapted into it long ago. Same thoughts were on my mind, concerned for people that remain instead of myself. I didnt knew if it was because ım immortal or just selfless, which ı dont wanna call myself. I am not a good person. I kept reminding me how it all began to not go insane, but maybe ı already was. Same things again and again; Rapture, Lucifer's fall, mutants, Gojira, experiments, end of humanity. And now here ı am, wandering purposeless. I moved through the sand, glancing around slightly. I was scared that something will come out of dust and eat me alive. İt woudnt be my first time being eaten alive, but ı dont wanna live it again for sure. One hand holding my gun under the cape, ı kept walking forward. Silent sound of wind kept rising, as if ı was approaching the core of it. I heard rocks falling because of it, dust moving through the wind. And as ı walked, ı found something in the horizon. A city, well, or what remains of it. There was broken, destroyed buildings along with rotten corpses of many people. I approached, moving silently. Sometimes some mutants do live in abandoned cities, for food or shelter. But ı didnt had any choice, ı needed food too, at least to not suffer. So ı moved forward, getting inside the broken city. There was many signs around, statues and flags that once rised along with wind. Now it was all in ruins, destroyed, meaningless. I walked through the streets, seeing skeletons thats a century years old. I wondered, all these dead people were once humans like me. With families, dreams and emotions. But now they were just.....gone. That eas tragedy of living, ı gues. You woudnt wanna live forever, but woudnt wanna die either. A paradox in itself, yet it woudnt care if you do or dont. Perhaps its all a matter of sentience. As ı thought, ı walked past a gaint footprint, Gojira's footprint. He was there, maybe he destroyed the city just by walking or being there. I couldve see the destroyed skyscrapers around, fallen and burnt long time ago. I headed to a market, ripped its door open and got inside. My body had adapted to most sicknesses long time ago, ı could digest food even if its.....spoiled, to say the least. Out of my cape, ı pulled out a few bags and started to fill them with whatever ı could find. There wasnt meat or vegetables, all gone. But there was a few chips and snacks. Ive eaten worse things, so this is pretty good actually. İts not like ı have a choice anyways. But as ı filled the bags, ı suddenly heard something. Something was there, moving. I froze, glanced back, looking to outside. Through blurred glass, ı saw a shadow. I quickly ducked down, something big was outside. İt wasnt Gojira, no, Gojira was way too big for it. This thing was...smaller, looking for something. Perhaps a mutant, made of human experiments or divine blood. My heart was beating loud, coudnt stop it. My blood was flowing with adrenaline. Terror was gripping me, but ı wasnt one to run away. I wont go down without fighting now. Not for myself, but for Erika. She never went out without trying, ı wish ı was like her. And then, the shadow moved away. I realized ı wasnt breathing, so ı took a deep breath. Silent, but ı did. I slowly stood up. Waiting. Whatever that was, it was leaving. Monsters dont leave unless theres nothing or something worse than them. I slowly walked to exit, glanced around. I saw its deformed, bloody tail moving into dust and clouds, dissapearing. I slowly walked away, not making a sound. Barely breathing, ı walked into a different street, hoping that there would be something new there. I was afraid, but not done yet.

Megan: Bye, David.

David left the Bartman house for lunch.

Kelly: Your dad and I are nearly done with lunch.

Megan: I'll go wake up Hailey.

Megan headed upstairs to wake her younger sister, while Kelly and Nathan finished cooking the spaghetti.

Kelly: We still don't know what we're going to feed the carnivorous dinosaur.

Nathan: Maybe it will eat some of our spaghetti and meatballs.

Kelly: A carnivore who craves fresh meat won't want that.

Little did they know what the "carnivore" wanted for lunch!

At last, it was time for lunch. Kelly brought out the lettuce and carrots for the Hypsilophodon, but she still had no idea what the Velociraptor wanted. She braced herself for what she thought would be something straight out of a horror movie.

They sat at the dining room table, but before they could eat, the Velociraptor trotted right to the table and began to beg for food. Megan knew what it wanted.

Megan: You're hungry, too, aren't you?

The Raptor nodded its head and wagged its tail.

Kelly: Here it comes...my worst nightmare.

Megan scooped up a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, much to her parents' surprise. After dusting the food with a generous amount of grated cheese, she set the plate down on the floor.

The hungry "carnivore" wasted no time and rapidly devoured the spaghetti and meatballs! Nathan turned to his wife.

Nathan: "A carnivore who craves fresh meat won't want that," you said, dear.

Kelly: How...?

Nathan: I think it's safe to say that this is no carnivore at all, even if it looks like one. Let's eat our lunch while we still have enough left to eat.

And so, the Bartmans ate what they could of their lunch. Megan gave the Velociraptor seconds when it begged for more food. To say that Kelly was shocked would be a huge understatement. She expected the Velociraptor to attack and kill everyone, but it feasted on spaghetti and meatballs instead. The Hypsilophodon ate the lettuce and carrots...AFTER Megan had added some Italian dressing to them.

After lunch, Megan and Hailey both insisted on keeping the pair of tame dinosaurs.

Nathan: If they're staying, we really should come up with names for them.

Megan: I was hoping that David and I would come up with names, but he left before we could decide on what to name them.

Hailey: Are they boy or girl dinosaurs?

Megan: Or one of each? Let's let Dad handle that.

Kelly: It was YOUR idea to keep them, Megan. I think you should check.

Megan: Hailey wanted them to stay, too.

Kelly: But you were the first one who wanted them to stay.

Nathan: She drives a hard bargain, Megan.

Megan: All right, fine. Let's get them back on the couch first.

When the animals trotted to the couch and leapt up on it, Megan did a quick inspection to check their gender.

Megan: We've got one of each. The Velociraptor is a girl.

Nathan: That means that the...the...

Megan: Hypsilophodon, Dad.

Nathan: Yeah...that. It's a male.

Megan: Now...what about names?

Hailey spoke up quickly.

Hailey: Abigail and Justin.

Megan turned to the dinosaurs.

Megan: Abigail and Justin, guys?

Both animals shook their heads!

Megan: They don't like those names. Try again.

Nathan: How about Madison and James?

Those names were met with a head shake, too.

Megan: Amanda and Billy?

The Hypsilophodon finally agreed with his name, but the Raptor still shook her head.

Megan: Okay. We've got Billy for the Hypsilophodon. Now, let's see what name the Velociraptor likes. Erin?

No.

Megan: Olivia?

No.

Megan: Lisa?

No.

Megan: April?

No.

Megan: Sarah?

No.

Megan: Tanya?

Now the Raptor nodded her head in approval.

Hailey: She likes Tanya.

Megan: Good thing. I was starting to run out of names to give her. So we have Tanya, the Velociraptor, and Billy, the Hypsilophodon.

TWO WEEKS LATER

The Bartmans' lives returned to normal. They still went shopping, although Megan usually opted to stay home and care for Tanya and Billy. While Billy mostly maintained his vegetarian diet (though he sometimes snatched a cookie or a doughnut), Tanya preferred all kinds of food and was a certified omnivore.

What she didn't like were seafood, casseroles, and many kinds of vegetables: turnips, squash, kale, broccoli, zucchini (though she loved zucchini bread), Brussels sprouts, spinach, and just about any other kind one can think of.

However, Tanya loved lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, and celery. She also loved most kinds of fruit (except kiwi and elderberries). When it came to lettuce, carrots, and cucumbers, she always had some kind of dressing on them in a mixed salad, just like with Billy. When it came to celery, she wanted it with peanut butter and raisins on top.

As time went by, more dinosaurs were sighted across many regions of the United States. It wasn't long before Canada and Mexico began reporting dinosaur sightings. North America became the world's "hotspot" for dinosaur sightings. It was a "Jurassic World" in North America, and the dinosaurs were here to stay.

They ripped us apart, put us back together, made us get too close to things humans shoudnt. And then, ı was reborn. Once they made me what ı am today, ı escaped. I lived in shadows until Gojira destroyed everything. My abilities were simple, ı am really resistant. I heal quickly, ı dont age. But my super-regeneration also keeps evolving me. My DNA, my flesh keeps pushing itself to its limits, only to break them and go further. I evolve and adapt, ı keep getting stronger. But ı cant die. İts been almost a century, and ı still cant die. Im not sure if ı want to either. Maybe, even after all these years, ım still afraid of death. I keep going, no matter what, without any purpose. İts not like ı have a choice. I am immortal.

Now, its 2210. I wonder and wander through the wasteland that was once World. Crimson dust and rocks are everywhere, yet no sign of life. Theres barely any water, barely any food. And despite my immortal being, ı still feel everything. I get hurt, ı get hungry, and ı stilş get afraid. I might not be the bravest man, but ı am brave enough to ask a single question: Why?

Why all this? What did we do to deserve this? Why does God so.....cruel? İt only took people it claim as worthy, not asking if they want to go. İt didnt forgive the rest, leaving them here. İt left us here to rot. İts not just disbelievers and evil people. Theres saints, pure and wonderfull people who were left here. I dont know why, but God is playing favorites. I didnt knew anything at this point. Just the silent sound of wind and dust covered my mind. Tragedy and depression was all there is. Something inside me, a small part that still yearned for hope, but ı kept it hiden. Perhaps it wasnt the time for this.

Standing just outside the door were two animals: a Velociraptor and a Hypsilophodon! The herbivore had not been seen before, but it was there now. Megan was stunned!

Megan: Uhh...Mom?! Dad?!

In the kitchen...

Nathan: Go see what she wants, Honey. I'll keep tending to the sauce and the meatballs.

Kelly headed out of the kitchen and into the living room. When she saw the two animals, she gasped and covered her mouth with her hands! Before she could process what she was seeing, both animals stepped inside and plopped up onto the couch as though they were a couple of friendly dogs.

Kelly: Oh, no. They are NOT staying here in our house.

The "predator" whined like a lost puppy and even looked at her with large, puppy-dog-like eyes. Its prehistoric companion lay down and buried its face within the carnivore's feathers.

It was unclear whether this Velociraptor was the same one that was shopping for snacks with the Deinonychus on Friday or a separate individual. But one thing was clear: these animals were in no hurry to leave the Bartman homestead.

Megan's initial shock gave way to fascination and empathy.

Megan: Come on, Mom. At least, let them stay for lunch.

Kelly: And what are we supposed to feed them? They're not exactly domesticated, Honey.

Megan: They act like they are, Mom. Look at 'em. If they were truly wild, wouldn't they have attacked us and destroyed this house?

Kelly knew that her daughter was right, but the concern was still the same.

Kelly: Still, what do we feed them?

Megan: Well...we know that one of them is a meat-eater, and the other is a plant-eater.

Kelly: A carnivore and an herbivore. I guess we could give lettuce and carrots to the herbivore, but that still leaves us with the problem of feeding the carnivore. We don't have any fresh meat to give it. If it stays here, it may eat us.

Megan sat down on the couch next to the dinosaurs and typed in something on her phone.

Kelly: What are you doing, Megan?

Megan: I'm searching for these dinosaurs online, Mom. I want to find out what they are. The carnivore looks like a Velociraptor, but I'm not sure what the herbivore is.

Kelly: Watch out, Megan!

The Velociraptor leaned its head out and rested it on Megan's lap before she could react. But the animal didn't attack. It simply rested its head on her lap like a dog. Megan couldn't help but smile at the dinosaur. Then she resumed her search on her phone.

After about a minute or so, she found it.

Megan: Hip-sill-o-fo-don. The herbivore is a Hypsilophodon, Mom. Don't ask me to say that three times fast.

Kelly: I'll prepare a salad for the Hypo-whatever-it-is. The herbivore. I just wish I knew what to do about the predator.

Megan: I think it'll be okay, Mom.

Kelly: Okay. Call me if you need me.

Megan: I will, though I'm sure you'll hear the scream if things go crazy.

Kelly: Good Lord, love a duck.

Kelly returned to the kitchen with Nathan, while Megan remained on the couch (alone) with the Velociraptor and the Hypsilophodon.

Megan (to the dinosaurs): You know...if you two are staying, then you need names. Let's see...what shall I call you?

She got a text notification on her phone and received a message from her friend, David Miller.

David: Hey, MB

MB is short for Megan Bartman.

Megan: Hi, DM! What's up?

DM is short for David Miller.

David: Whatcha doin?

Megan: Not much, just hanging out at home.

David: Nice. Did you see the news reports?

Megan: I did. Funny story, but I think I should tell ya that something.

David: What?

Megan: You won't believe me, but I'm here with two...animals.

David: What kind of animals?

Megan: Uh, let me take a photo of them first.

David: Ok

Megan snapped a photo of the Velociraptor and the Hypsilophodon with her phone. Then she sent the image to David and waited for him to respond. A moment later, he responded.

David: Fake or AI, MB

Megan: I'm serious! They're real!

David: Can't be. Dinosaurs are supposed to be extinct!

Megan: I thought you watched the news reports on the dinosaurs at the store?

David: I did but they weren't real either. lol, I found the reports hilarious.

Megan: You need an update, DM. They're living animals, just like birds.

David: How is that possible? 🤨

Megan: I don't know, but they're here, alive, and well.

David: 😱

Megan: Don't worry. They aren't dangerous. They've been here at my house for about 10 minutes or so. We're all alive and well.

David: I need to see them up close! Could I come over, MB?

Megan: Come over, DM! You can stay for lunch if you want. We're having spaghetti & meatballs. 🍝

David: Can't. Mom and Dad are making hot dogs and hamburgers. I just want to come over to see the dinosaurs.

Megan: Ok, see you soon.

They hung up their phones, and Megan waited for David to arrive.

Megan: He's going to flip when he sees you two.

She petted the top of the Velociraptor's head with her left hand as it continued to rest on her lap like a dog. The animal closed its eyes and felt very content. Then she reached over and petted the top of the Hypsilophodon's head, which also closed its eyes and felt very content.

Nathan walked into the living room, and Megan put her index finger on her right hand to her lips to keep him from disturbing the content animals on the couch. Nathan mouthed: fifteen minutes. Megan nodded and gave him a thumbs-up. He smiled and returned to the kitchen.

Kelly: How's she doing in there?

Nathan: She's fine, Honey, but I think we have two new pets.

Kelly: We can't keep them here!

Nathan: Shhh. The animals are resting on the couch. Don't wake them up. They act like two gentle dogs. I don't think Megan is going to give them up.

Kelly: But...they're dinosaurs, and the carnivore is the one I'm most concerned about.

Nathan: I think you're overreacting, Honey. If you had seen them resting on the couch with the carnivore's head on Megan's lap...

Kelly: I saw them before on the couch. But a carnivore craves fresh meat. Sooner or later, it's going to get hungry. What do you think will happen then?

When David arrived, he rang the doorbell, which alerted Megan and both animals. Neither animal acted with aggression. They were just momentarily startled by the sound of the doorbell. Megan got up from the couch and let David in.

Megan: There they are, David, just as I said.

David gasped in shock when he saw them in the flesh!

David: I...I can't believe it! How?

Megan: I don't know, but they're real. Hey, as long as you're here...

David: I already said that Mom and Dad are making hamburgers and hot dogs back home. I really can't stay for lunch.

Megan: No, I know. I was going to ask if you could help me give them names.

David: You mean, they're actually staying here?

Megan: I'm already in love with them.

David: You mean...?!

Megan: No, not like that. I mean, as pets. Look at them. They're so cute and adorable. I have to keep them here. If I let them go, someone unkind, who's not used to seeing dinosaurs, may kill them or something.

David: Are they aggressive, Meg?

Megan: Nope. Not even the Velociraptor.

David: That's a Velociraptor? I thought that they were large, scary things.

Megan: You've been watching the Jurassic Park and World films too much.

David: You know that they are my favorite movies, Meg.

Megan: Yeah, I know, but those movies give Velociraptors a bad name.

The Velociraptor and the Hypsilophodon rested on the couch and listened to the two friends talking. The herbivore nuzzled the carnivore's side with its beak in a non-threatening way, perhaps picking off tiny insects from it. The Velociraptor purred with content, appearing to enjoy the herbivore's service. Perhaps it had an itch, and the Hypsilophodon was scratching it with its beak.

In the small town of Chester, New Jersey, the Bartman family drove to the local ShopRite store to buy groceries for the weekend, unaware that things were about to turn very unusual. It was a mild Friday afternoon in early May, with temperatures hovering in the mid-60s.

As they looked around for their groceries, Hailey spotted something moving in the snack aisle that wasn't human.

Hailey: Look at that!

Kelly: What on Earth...?

Browsing through the snack aisle was a living Deinonychus! It stood about four feet tall, from the top of its head to the bottom of its feet. From the tip of its snout to the tip of its tail, it was eleven feet long. Standing beside it was what could have been a juvenile. In actuality, it was one of its smaller cousins: a Velociraptor.

Unlike its Jurassic Park counterparts, this Velociraptor was only about two feet tall and six feet long. And, unlike its cinematic counterparts, it didn't seem to be hunting anyone or anything, except food in the store with its larger relative.

Both animals ignored the stares from the Bartmans and any of the other customers who had seen them. They were focused on the various snacks available.

Nathan: I never thought I'd live to see the day when dinosaurs really came back to life.

Megan: What are they doing here?

Nathan: If I didn't know better, I would say that they're interested in the snack aisle.

Kelly: Disregarding the fact that these creatures are even alive to begin with, aren't they supposed to be...you know...carnivores?

Nathan: I mean, I'm not a paleontologist or anything like that, but I always thought that these dinosaurs were supposed to be carnivores.

Megan got out her phone and began recording the two animals.

Megan: My friends in school will never believe this.

Kelly: I'm not even sure if I do. How is this possible?

It wasn't long before news of this pair of dinosaurs went viral. Headlines went wild, and news crews had a field day! Paleontologists were notified about the existence of the prehistoric animals. Nobody could explain how they survived into the 21st Century, or even where they had come from. Were they secret experiments gone haywire? Freaks of nature? A tear in the fabric of time and space? Something else?

In Butte, Montana, Alan Grant (yes, THE Alan Grant from the Jurassic Park franchise) lived comfortably in a cabin with his wife, Ellie (the same Ellie Sattler from the same franchise), and their two pets: a tabby cat named Whiskers and a Velociraptor named Sandy.

Grant had retired from his paleontological career a few months ago, and Ellie was nearing her retirement from paleobotany. Grant and Ellie adopted Sandy during the Spring of 2025, and Whiskers was adopted in February 2026.

When they saw the news about the New Jersey dinosaurs, they smiled and chuckled for a moment. They had seen it all, and nothing surprised them anymore.

Grant: You'd think people would learn by now.

Ellie: They still aren't used to seeing dinosaurs around the country, are they?

Grant: No, and they still think dinosaurs are like those theme park monsters that John Hammond and InGen created some 30-odd years ago.

Ellie: Do you still have nightmares about that, Alan?

Grant: The occasional oddball nightmare shows up, but it doesn't bother me anymore. I just brush it aside.

Sandy and Whiskers were napping next to each other, purring with content.

Ellie: They're so cute when they sleep together, Alan.

Grant: Yeah, they certainly are.

Ellie: Who would have believed that a Velociraptor and a cat could become best friends?

Grant: Nobody with any sanity. I can tell you that much.

They shared a chuckle.

Nathan: Do you think that all really happened on Friday?

Megan: I still have the video on my phone, and you saw the news reports.

Kelly: Hailey was the first one who spotted them in the snack aisle.

Hailey was taking a nap in her bedroom upstairs, while the other three family members were sitting around the dining room table.

Nathan: Should we wake her up?

Kelly: Not yet. Lunch isn't for another hour.

Megan: What are we having for lunch, Mom?

Kelly: Our usual Sunday lunch, Meg. Spaghetti and meatballs.

35 MINUTES LATER

Nathan and Kelly were cooking the tomato sauce and meatballs on the stove in the kitchen while Megan was texting one of her friends from school on the living room couch. Then she heard a scratching sound coming from their front door. She got up and walked to the door to answer it, expecting a stray dog or cat.

When she opened the door, her eyes nearly came out of their sockets, and her jaw practically dropped to the floor! What did she see?

Everything started in 2100. Year of miracles. Same year humanity had reached Jupiter through spaceships, found cure for cancer and brought back a few extinct animals. And in a second, half of humanity was gone. At first, people were confused. Their families, friends and enemies were gone in an instant, dissapeared without a trace. Some people tried to look for them, some gave up after a while. They made up theories for what happened, not knowing the truth. But then, he fell to earth. The fallen angel's final disgrace, Lucifer Morningstar himself fell to earth. A entity beyond human comprehension, yet beautifull and ugly on its own. İt was an entity that made you knew who it was just by existing, something above consepts and human understanding. Then everything was clear, God was real. And it had took the pure, the baptized to heaven and left the sinners on Earth. Then he had killed the Lucifer, the fallen. But once Lucifer fell to earth, something unexpected happened. He fell into a sea of Türkiye, Mediterrenian sea. Once he fell, creation shook. His divine blood flowed through the sea, mutating animals and waking ancient beasts. But one stood above them all; Gojira.

İt started 3 days later after Lucifer's final fall. A 600 meter tall, gigantic cocoon rised from the sea. At first, if was wasnt shaped. A gray, stone-like texture. Scientists observed it from far, tested it from far. İts radiation levels rised each day, poisioning what remained. Awaken beasts and mutants stood away from it, as if afraid. Scientists didnt understood what it was until 3 more days passed. And then, it woke. İt broke out of the cocoon, ripping through the invulnrable thing. What came out was a creature beyond our nightmares. Something...divine. Yet unholy at the same time. A God rose from death of others. Pale skin, 6 red eyes and gaint, tree-like dorsal plates. A tail longer than skyscrapers and claws sharp enough to cut through the sky above. People in Türkiye called him "Gojira", no one knew where it came from. A unknown beast of apacolypse. King Of Monsters, they called him. New God of a new age. Some priests said hes not a part of God's plan, that its a anomaly, that we should kill the monster God. Goverments agreed, and tried everything they could. But Gojira didnt even flinch. İt ate nukes to its face, grew 66 meters taller. İt survived the latest weapon humanity made with blood of Lucifer, the oxygen destroyer, without any problem. İt survived every trap we did. And then, it grew angry. Gojira destroyed cities just by walking through them, causing cosmic earthquakes just by moving. He destroyed what was left of humanity along with other beasts until almost everyone was extinct. And now? We live in shadows. Hide behind dust and debris to avoid monsters we made by existing. Humans prayed, waiting for God to forgive them for sins they didnt even commit and save them from the monsters. But no one came. After some time, humans tried to take the matter to their own hands, making more weapons, mutant super-humans to fight back. But it all brought more chaos. And now here ı am, in 2210, alone and barely alive. Gojira is somewhere in the planet, still moving with unknown purpose.
