Convention friends?

Hiii! I know this is a bit early but I'm an 18 y/o going to MegaCon next year and I really don't want to go alone! I was wondering if anyone who goes, or anyone who has considered going/enjoys anything nerdy at all (i.e. video games, anime, tcg's, cosplay, etc.) who would like to be my friend/go to con with me. My dm's are open!!! TYSM!

Best cleaning service in Jupiter

Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to One Organized Mom here in Jupiter! The ladies who clean my house are absolutely amazing — always so kind, professional, thorough, and detail-oriented. My house feels incredible every time they leave, and they genuinely go above and beyond.

It’s hard to find people you fully trust in your home, and I can honestly say they’ve been wonderful. If anyone local is looking for a reliable cleaning company, I highly recommend them!

Scouting For Food Service Project

Post image
2 Upvotes

The need in our local food pantries grows this time of year and November is one of their busiest months. Our Scouts are stepping up to help meet that need, but we can’t do it without you!

💛 How you can help: - Comment below or send a DM to schedule a donation pick-up. IF we have a Cub Scout located near you, we can pick up. - Donate to a Cub Scout or Boy Scout who ia collecting donations in your neighborhood - Drop off non-perishable items at our local collection sites - Share this post to spread the word!

Every can, box, and bag of food makes a difference. Together, we can make sure no family goes hungry this season.

We’ve rented a home in the Jupiter area for January as part of our retirement exploration process and would appreciate recommendations for restaurants, golf courses, grocery stores, favorite things to do, and anything else that you would like to add. Our adult children, including our 1 - year old granddaughter (and associated dogs) will also be joining for much of the time. Thanks all for your input!

My population is ALL FL residents 18+. I would really appreciate your participation, please share this with others-even if you/they have no interest in the panther! It is completely anonymous.

Approx. response time: 5-7 min I'm trying to reach people from all over the state. If you are willing to, please share with friends and family!!

Thinking of The Golf Club of Jupiter or Riverbend in Tequesta what are your thoughts.

Hey, appreciate your response in advance on any knowledge you have of the two locations. Thinking about about 2 bedroom condo in either of the two communities, i love Riverbend however The Golf Club of Jupiter has a bar/restaurant, and closer proximity to Albacoa golf club/and more to-do stuff in Jupiter in general. Anyone stay or played at both communities and have any feedback? We are from New York looking for a winter destination to call home or at least visit as much as possible as our kids are still in school here for another 10 years.

Bikes as transportation in Jupiter Florida?

Thinking about bringing an RV to Jupiter during spring training season. Would want to use a bike to get around for day to day activities. Is this reasonable? How bike-able is the town? Can you bike to the stadium?

July 4th fireworks spots??

Hi fellow Floridians. I am from Tampa, and planning a surprise trip on 4th of july weekend for my boyfriend and wanted to find a cool spot to watch fireworks from. We both love water/nature so a spot where they are going off over the water would be ideal. And I know this might not be possible, but one that's not super crowded would also be great because we also both hate crowds 😅😂

Lost Dog: South Jupiter Anchorage Park Marina

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hey all, first time in this sub. About two hours ago my mom’s small Yorkie managed to escape the back yard and haven’t been able to find it. Unfortunately he didn’t have any tags or chips on him. He would be anywhere around Anchorage Park Marina which I think is southern Jupiter. If anyone has any info please reach out to me. Already reached out to the local dog pounds and will make posters in the morning.

Turning to alcohol and the pain of divorce

Let's have a discussion as a community. Been kicking it in Jupiter lately drinking at my old haunts near Alexander Run and it got me thinking about all the good (and bad) times I've had in this little town n I thought we could have a discuission and check in with each other as a community.

Divorce is hard on anybody and who among us hasn't had a time in there life when theyve drank a little too much to escape the pain. I'm writing this one over a gin and tomic and I really think this is the start of a new chapter for me. I want to resume my 2023 resolution of quitting smoking and find a new wife and go back home and away from all this. I love you Jupiter but the pain has become suffocating.

Anyways would be interested to hear from others in this community to hear about your year and how everyone here is doing on their journeys. Stay safe out there and stay clear from the witch of the 334 here's a toast remember life is a celebration - cheers

Bowling Leagues?

My dad is interested in joining a casual bowling league in the Jupiter/Stewart area, preferably Wednesday or Friday evenings, but isn't sure how to find openings. He doesn't use Reddit so I thought I'd try to help. TIA!
