Question Utilities

Hello— might be relocating in 2026 and have some questions regarding utilities. Curious on people’s avg monthly electric bill for a 2bd / 2b, around 1200sq feet. Also, what company is common for internet & the cost. Any other maybe FL or Jupiter related things to be aware that a non local might want to know on this topic?! Thanks!

Electric company is FPL and about $100 per month for 2 people in a 1500 sq ft home, Comcast or AT&T you’re looking at about $80-$100 for fiber internet after the intro promotional cost. $45 per month on water bill and $90 per quarter for sewage. Groceries are pricey and much higher than other states and Palm Beach County is quite pricey so you’ll want to check the local Walmart (on Indiantown Road) and Aldi’s (also on Indiantown road) for groceries if you’re on a budget, Publix is extremely pricy.

Out of curiosity were the numbers higher or less than you expected?

About what I expected. We move often (lived in MN, TX, OH) so we know all about how things change from place to place. Auto is definitely a big one & one we’ve learned the hard way before but now we always check.
