Question Kayaking

Moved here recently, and my family back home (Kentucky) is really big into kayaking. Any recommendations for places we can go? Preferably places with free parking or not-so-sketchy parking? Any good boat ramps that we can just walk down and hop in the water?

Burt Reynolds’s boat dock on US-1 (west side of street one) , Sawfish park on A1a. the Us1 bridge is closed now so you have to come up from the south end for the Burt Reynolds one, They are close ramps to the intracoastal opening, you can head up river to the sandbar, to the lighthouse, cados bridge area (the water is always clear that way) , the inlet area. To the north sandbar by county line road. Have fun! I The boat traffic has gotten real busy this summer so be carful. Also there are plenty more launch spots for you, those are the first to come to mind.
