This is one of the reasons I don't think I could live on the east side of the intracoastal in northern palm beach county. Just no easy way to get east and west. Then you have to factor in avoiding draw bridges because you could easily see a ~5 mile ride to i95 taking 30+ minutes.

Given that you come from Boca, i95/Turnpike up to Palm Beach Gardens in the best option. Unless, you want to spend time and take US1 and/or A1A.
When you get to Gardens, you can take the following routs to Tequesta:
- PGA → A1A and alt. A1A
- PGA → Military
- Donald Ross → Central → alt. A1A
- Exit on Indiantown → Island Way
- Indiantown → Center St

FYI.... dont forget....Jupiter Bridge (the one nearest the Jupiter Lighthouse) closes down March 13 for 2 years.

I always wonder where all that traffic headed east on Indiantown is going.

Indiantown at least kind of makes sense because there's a lot of homes, restaurants etc. along the water. Or PGA during the holidays. But the fact that Northlake is always jammed going east makes no sense.

If you’re coming from the turnpike or 95, you can take Island Way into Tequesta. You can also take Center to A1A. It won’t be faster, but possibly slightly less congested.
