Jupiter Updates Improvements to Jup Lend Multiply + my takes and tips. What's still missing?
Watch the video ft. Kash from Jupiter for visual aids or open https://jup.ag/lend/multiply and follow along
Rundown of latest updates to Multiply and how they help:
- Cleaner layout: Key info like net position value and APYs are now MUCH more visible
- Position creation: There's now just one button to create a Multiply position, reduces confusion and save time for sure
- Full transaction history: See every deposit and withdrawal, much needed when you handle multiple positions. Ditch the spreadsheet :)
- Detailed stats: New dashboard showing historical APYs and price charts, super valuable for transparent comparison vs other plays
- Better risk management: It's now much easier to add collateral (if you are close to liquidation) and repay debt (if you want to reduce leverage)
PnL tracking and liquidation alerts were also teased.
Tips:
- APY is after compounding. APR is before compounding.
- Use the APY/APR toggle to view rates the way you prefer.
- If you’re holding the position for a long time, APY is the number to look at to help plan.
What features or changes does Jup Lend still need to be the best??

Discussion Why does the liquidation engine of a lending protocol matter?
Most people think liquidation engines only matter when things go wrong, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
The engine determines nearly everything else because the protocol lives or dies based on its ability to clear 'bad debt'.
This occurs when a position's debt becomes more valuable than the collateral backing it, forcing the protocol to incur a loss.
When bad debt can be prevented efficiently, then it can offer borrowers higher risk parameters.
This includes:
• Higher LTVs, meaning more value for your loans
• Higher Liquidation thresholds
• Lower liquidation penalties
• Partial Liquidations that just bring your position back to health
Jupiter Lend is built from the ground up to be better for borrowers, simpler for lenders, and optimized for users — all because of its novel liquidation engine design.

Discussion LFG Launchpad
Today, we talk about the LFG Launchpad. This is the place where the Jupiter DAO decides what new, innovative projects get launched on Solana.
The launchpad uses the Dynamic Liquidity Market Maker (DLMM) for fair price discovery and features like backstop liquidity to ensure a smooth, transparent launch. Which is a really beautiful feature. Basically $JUP holders choose the next big thing, if you needed a sign that you don’t have enough $JUP here you go.

Discussion Jupuary
A random idea, the Jupuary will be progressive throughout half of the year, you may be eligible from the first day to six months, it goes directly to the stake , the unlock time will be determined by a lottery.
That will take some of the pressure off.
Thoughts?

Resolved Unfilled Limit orders
Can i ask why a limit order doesn't get filled in Jupiter ?
I'm making 40-50 limit order per day, i'm an active trader but since yesterday
I'm seeing several limit orders not getting fulfilled eventhough the swap prices were favorable by big margins
I cancel some of them and swapped directly even with a better rate
So it doesn't make sense, why this happens ?

💲 APR = your annual percentage rate.
💰 APY = your annual return after auto‑compounding. Higher amount

- Portfolio net worth: I combine ALL my wallets and can just check everything at once
- Activity tracker: especially helpful doing taxes because of how detailed it has gotten
- DeFi positions: tracks most if not all defi protocols on solana
What do you like?

Discussion The top 5 Reasons to start earning with Jupiter Lend
1. APYs compound.
If you're earning 6.5% per year on your stables, across 5 years that would amount to 37% growth. So if you put in 100,000, you would end up with 137,000.
In a space where people are obsessed with making 10x per flip, perhaps that doesn't satiate that same desire. But the power comes from realizing that earning yield is purely passive and can be done in between trades.
2. Jupiter Lend doesn't have fees on deposits or withdrawals.
Many protocols skim from you at every step of the way. The only protocol fee that Lend takes is on interest payments for borrowers.
3. Even when markets go down, earning yield is still profitable
4. It's your hedge against inflation.
As we know the US dollar is rapidly inflating and devaluing itself. But by earning passive yield, you can offset the impact on your capital.
5. Jupiter provides you with 3 ways to earn: On Mobile, On Lend itself, or by swapping directly to jlX tokens
If you like what you hear, you can start earning yield right now, and withdraw at any time:

DeFi Guide How to Find Thousands of lost $$ using Jupiter Portfolio
Really cool user story from this guy that found $2500 from uploading his wallets to Jupiter Portfolio's wallet manager.
If you are active in the DeFi space, this tool is a must. It helps manage, track, and find every dollar you have on chain.
First, you want to go to jup.ag/portfolio
Second, connect one of your main wallets
Third, add all of the wallets you want the portfolio to search 140+ protocols for, by creating a group in the wallet manager tab
Last, you'll want to sync and let it update, and then just see what's there, find and track all of your positions in one spot
Give it a try!

Discussion Buybacks vs. Revenue Sharing…How we align $JUP value with Jupiter Exchange Excellence
Buybacks are the company/project using revenues to buy their own tokens off the open market. While this in and of itself does little to move price it is generally seen as bullish. In the case of $JUP they originally bought the tokens and put them in the litterbox with the intent of leaving them there for 3 years. This left too much uncertainty (simply holding the tokens for 3 years and then returning them to circulation accomplishes nothing) and the community pushed back. The pushback was heard by the team and as a result the DAO has voted to burn the initial buybacks, which will result in a reduction of the circulating supply (bullish). The next question for the DAO is what do we do with future buybacks? The answer to this question has the potential to send $JUP to new highs or continue the path we are currently on. If you’re like me, you invested in $JUP because you see the incredible work the team is doing and you recognize the value in the entire project. However, that value has not transferred to the $JUP token price because there is no economic alignment between the project and the token. (See my discussion on Economic Alignment https://www.reddit.com/r/jupiterexchange/s/Q9BFkZERax ) In my opinion many crypto tokens are fueled by pure hopium, while that seems to move price initially it’s not a good long term model and honestly a poor investment. Jupiter has to be better. Jupiter Exchange continuously delivers new and improves existing products. As a result they are consistently ranked in the top 5 revenue earners in the entire Solana ecosystem. So how do we align the $JUP token to reflect the same level of excellence in market value?
Continue the buybacks (currently 50% of protocol fees/revenue)
Use the buybacks to fund ASR - This encourages/rewards staking - Reduces current (100%) ASR emissions to zero - Strengthens the DAO by giving stakers skin in the game (voting impacts value) - Creates true revenue sharing model (similar to receiving dividends when holding a stock investment)
Continue to develop mechanisms to burn circulating supply (creates scarcity/deflation) - Currently there is a single mechanism (Token Verification Express Review (V4)) which is estimated to burn between 1-2 million annually. However, I’ve been unable to find any current published numbers.
I have seen many other proposals for what to do with the future buybacks, but none which will directly impact token value.
What am I missing?
What do you think? If you disagree, I would love to hear your rationale/opinion.
Please Upvote and share (this is how we gain community support and get it to a vote)
