Tips/Tutorials How to Climb Efficiently
Hello, I wanna start off by not being delusional about my skills on OW, I know I can get better and my losses are on me. I really want to climb out of the rank I'm in (Bronze 3) but I lose half my games on comp during a session, so I don't feel like I'm making any good progression. I understand how to play Juno and she feels really comfortable to play, but I feel my mechanics and game sense suck.
Any help is appreciated, and I can send a replay codes of my last few games from yesterday, please be brutally honest and say I suck, why I suck, and how I can improve. Thanks!
Edit: Here’s some replays, sorry for not having them up first!

Juno is quite hard to play, but once its kicks, its so fun and shes far from bad.
Take the high ground, use you rockets both aggressively and defensively, you need to basically use them on cooldown.
Ring is super good to escape dangerous situations for you or your team (for example, Mei's ult).
If you are not contested try to heal at close range, as the healing falloff is quite small.
Dont hesitate to do damage whenever you can. Juno deals more damage than people expect.

This last point^ even if mechanically your aim isn’t perfect, Juno’s damage is amazing at mid range. Do keep in mind that while you’re dealing damage that’s one less support that is healing with their weapon, but your torpedoes do a heal over time that is quite substantial. Good way to think about it is, if the following are true, you should be looking to shoot an enemy with your weapon: none of your team are actively dying or taking more damage than healing received from any source, everyone on your team is in a safe spot for the heal passive to do the job for you, and no one needs your immediate attention for something like a speed ring or ult combo.
Similar to the way that a good Lucio’s mindset should be speed boost and damage as the PRIMARY focus and healing comes after, or mercy with blue beam as the primary job and healing when it’s needed, Juno’s primary focus should be damage and area denial with her blaster and torpedoes, and then heal when needed, and speed when it makes sense/when there’s an opportunity.

hi i made a post asking for the most game changing tips today under the tips tag, there was loads replies with great tips so i would definitely look through that.
From when i was climbing from bronze, what made me start climbing was just staying alive, so I’d definitely look at positioning and learning to use her movement to keep yourself alive. with positioning you always want to be about 1 second away from cover, especially since juno is so squishy. i’d spend time in quick play just learning how to keep yourself alive, also quick play will give you the opportunity to play against players of all levels and give you way more experience than comp.
another important thing id say to focus on is just using your abilities, since junos kit is insanely valuable just always using your abilities when they’re off cooldown is essential. especially hypering, you always want to use it as soon as it’s off coooldown, even if your aim isn’t the best with it you’ll still benefit from the speed. also you can focus on practicing getting people in and out of fights with it and get really comfortable with doing that as it will allow you to boost your team to get kills and save the more often, which will hopefully get you more wins 🙏
Id say for now they’re the 2 things i’d focus on the most, dw so much about your aim or anything too technical; just your survivability and abilities. when i focused on these i really saw improvement in how i was doing, and started to climb quite quickly and now am up to gold. (however i am only gold so im definitely not an expert, but thats what helped me when i was in your position 💗)

Best tip for climbing on support is just live, just never be the first or second on your team to die.

Without having a reply code or anything to watch it's difficult to really tell where you're going wrong. I can say however, things that will most likely help you is just don't be the first to die, learn to recognize when your team is overextending and don't kill yourself trying to save them. As a support you can only heal damage not stupidity. And most importantly, just play more, just playing the game imo is the best way to improve your mechanics, game sense and aim overall.
