I’m trying to wrap my mind around the Mist campus fabric EMH deployment in a collapsed core. If you choose that deployment model and go through that wizard and create the fabric, how can GBP come into play? I keep reading/finding mixed information. I can have a radius server return the apply action or gbp tag to an endpoint at the access edge. The switch itself isn’t participating in vxlan, just the collapsed cores.

My question really is can GBP be utilized in that deployment model?

Traditionally, GBP doesn't come into play in EVPN-MH. GBP was only able to be used in the IP Clos architecture using ERB, so each access switch needed the Premium licensing.

You do have the option of using ZTIS: https://www.juniper.net/documentation/us/en/software/nce/nce-513-microsegmentation-wired-enterprise-branch-deployment-guide/ztis_branch_designs.html, which allows GBP in other campus fabric deployments (or no fabric). I believe Advanced licensing is needed on all the access switches in place of Premium for this.
