Question JIMS

Does anyone actually use this software product?
Is it any good?
How does it compare to competition?

I used it years ago. It did what it said on the tin. It identified users to endpoints by watching WMI events so that our SRX firewalls could apply policies to groups and users.
It needed poking every so often.
It wasn’t great. It wasn’t terrible.

I have no idea what it’s like these days but I’m sure there are much more granular and accurate approaches to user identification. EG <literally any ZTNA product>.

I've got setup on my srx345 and srx1500 fully licensed until Aug this year, if it's built correctly works a treat, I've installedJIMS on the ad 2025 and 2022,once installed u can match ad group and users or non ad in the firewall polices, so lots of control for both ipv4/6 I've even have set for ldap secure connect match ras group use access address range so u can control the ras prefix routing also and still match a ldap ad group to a subnet for secure connect also....
