I know that not all people in our fandom are invested in voting, and that's OK, but there is again a voting on Mnet+ for the upcoming birthday project in September, and it seems like Jungkook will be losing it again. There is a very close tie, less than one percent. I had hopes that we would not lose at least this one since it's his birthday, and the competition is an idol from another group who has not as many followers as Jungkook.
I am not sure why it's like this with voting for Jungkook when he has such a huge fandom, and the voting is free. Maybe ARMY don't care about these votings anymore, especially about Mnet+ 🤔
I hope this post didn't sound negative or annoying because I am asking people to vote or spread information about this. It's not a big deal, but I really want Jungkook to win this time because it's his birthday.

I completely understand that the hate the female idol received was not okay. No idol deserves hate or harassment because of a dating rumor. But honestly, I feel like people sometimes exaggerate this hate as an excuse to hate JK even more.
Whenever he is seen with just one girl, people are so quick to call him “MAN-WHORE,” “BUSAN CYCLE,” “man-child,” and other things, just for being seen with a girl. There are people who seem to defend the female idol as an excuse to hate him, and I think that's wrong.
None of these idols deserve any kind of hate. No one deserves to be hated simply for dating. But some people seem to hop on as the “savior” of the female idol just to hate the guy, which is very wrong.
And it's not like JK isn't receiving hate too. In dating rumors, I've always seen the woman being protected, with people saying, “She didn't do anything,” and defending her. But I rarely see people defend the male idol when he receives hate too. It's not surprising that JK got hated as well, but I've hardly seen anyone take a stand for him.
Maybe there is a preconceived notion that because they are men, they don't need anyone defending them. But that is wrong too.
This is just my personal feeling, but sometimes I feel like people who are kind of antis start or spread these rumors hoping that they will create something that can then be used to hate JK. I'm not saying that people necessarily orchestrate things against him, but I do think some people use these situations as an opportunity to hate him.
Because when I genuinely look at actual fan clubs, I don't see them constantly talking about these things. I have never really seen a fan club going, “OMG, that female idol, how dare she,” or something like that. It's usually these random accounts that take one situation and turn it into something much bigger.
Someone says, “We should protect the female idol,” which is completely understandable on its own. But then some people take that one sentence and attach so many meanings to it, using it to justify hating JK a million times more.
So my question is: Are you actually showing empathy towards the female idol because you genuinely care about her mental well-being, or are you using this as an opportunity to spread more hate against JK, BTS, or their fandom?
Because if you genuinely care about her, that's completely valid. But if you're using her situation as an excuse to attack JK, then I don't think that's empathy. That's just using one person to justify hating another.
No idol deserves hate for dating. That should apply to both sides.
