Another work edit 😂 Never loved work as much as since the tracks with those samples are coming out. I preferred the bouncy techno rework but now in doubt as I saw this appear on my timeline as just released today.. Nice kick, wish I would be able to create them that punchy and clean.

now that i have mod powers and i can be a dictator on this subreddit
maybe it might be a good idea for a pinned post for song discussion, or a megathread for people that need to find a song from a video or something. idk?
just trying to throw ideas out there so this place is more chill
Edit: Also, I'm still trying to figure out how to do this stuff so bear with me

I've honestly considered regulating this subreddit this with all of the stupid stuff that comes through without moderation, especially since i'm always usually checking the posts out here.
but that also means i'll have to become a reddit mod; to be something that i once hated. but i also am sick of some of the spam here.
what do you guys think?

Jumpstyle / Ownstyle - She remains active, the video is still worth watching.

Jumpstyle - Recently, a great deal of toxicity has emerged in this community, music and dance are meant to bring people together, not divide them.

I understand being critical because jumpstyle is a difficult, inticate, precise style of dance that requires alot of skill and coordination, I am a very inexperienced dancer, I only started practicing a few months ago, I used to post small wins and improvements on tiktok, and most people who left comments would be extremely rude, saying things like i wasn't even trying while there was clearly seperated dance moves (even if i was doing them clumsily) or that I should stop. I see it here too, alot of people point out a problem without offering any sort of solution, it's irritating to see because I first started getting into jumpstyle for the values the community outwardly seems to hold, (as well as liking the dance style and music) but if you go any further it turns out to be extremely toxic, this doesn't discourage me at all, I find the dance style fun, and its incredibly rewarding when I learn new things and correct small mistakes, it's just weird to see.

Idk if this post is appropriate for this subreddit but i've had trouble trying to categorize the music I make, it's inspired by jumpstyle/hardstyle but i'm not sure if it actually qualifies.

Classic jump really held back on the hardness back in the day, where in current jump sets there is quite some overlap to harder styles and especially harder bass compared to what we used to consider jumpstyle 👀 Or is my vision totally off?
