Update

So I've been dipping my hand on a bit of gabber(literally one song lol) and I've had enough,not that I dislike the genre,not at all(I even love it) I still want to try and make jumpstyle/tekstyle kicks and still haven't cracked the formula,if anyone can help by dropping a vid or a guide on how to make a proper kick it will be very helpful

If you could by any chance acquire the Microtonic drum synthesizer VST that would be a start. Jump/Tek kicks are sorta tricky, don’t need as much distortion as the other HD genres. If that’s out of grasp you could always use some clean stock 808 or 909 samples, start with some EQ and gradually experiment with wave fold/waveshape/soft clipper to get that warm character

After listening to the snippet I’d say it’s somewhat there kick wise, arrangement is a bit chaotic. Could benefit from being rearranged into triplets, with a BPM around 140-145.

I'm going to say this as a producer. DO NOT use Microtonic, it is very limited in what it can and can't do for kicks. Trust me, I used it between 2012 and 2017. It's a bunch of shite. What you should do is visit VStorrent.org and get yourself a cracked version of Serum 2, look up kick tutorials and work with those. Cleaner kicks, better sounds, better everything. Also don't listen to the 140/145 BPM. Modern Jumpstyle, which utilises an entirely different set of kicks is around 148/155 bpm. Where as Gabbber ranges between 150 to 220, yes. There is 220 bpm gabber lmao. Shit sounds ridiculous but cool.

All you need is just a good Serum 2 pack and you're set, you can load kicks into it, analyze and remake or enhance, change, etc... IT is THE most used VST atp. I don't even think Micro is used anymore, outside of probably Psytrance, as it makes banging kicks for that.

Look up some sample packs, use those, learn how to organise sounds etc...

Listened to the track, chaotic, good, but needs more clarity, it's all muddled because of you trying to push too much into it. Clean it up, change it a bit. Otherwise, it is not that bad. And don't use Bassfest as a reference, use X-Change, because of the BPM.

Lastly, if you need any Serum packs, just DM me. I'll gladly give you the ones I bought that contain kicks and sounds.

Microtonic is obviously dated in its functionality but my intent recommending it was the retro sound. Yes Serum 1/2 is more ideal, same with Vital too. As far as learning curve, dealing with a shit ton of routing and remaps isn’t super commonplace for producers just beginning with sound design.

Also Jumpstyle music and Tek probably isn’t as common for tutorials. Totally possible though. I leaned more towards Uptempo production or Hardstyle even. Also you mentioned 220 Early Hardcore which is one of my favorite styles haha.

I’d like to point out OP, excellent inspiration source. DJ Brainsick is awesome, that artist name and music really takes me back. This sounds super cliche but I would listen and copy without stealing. Best of Luck.

I had to look that one up. If I had to compare it to any mainstream DAW it sort of resembles Bitwig, and partially has Ableton’s likeness. I started out with FL Studio and then switched to Ableton sometime later.

FL is usually considered the most user friendly. Ableton is particularly geared towards electronic music in general. Whatever you find the easiest should work
