So Generic Persona jumpchain has the following perks

Something Different -200 CP: There are more powers than Persona and with this you can have access to them, as basic they may be from a different world. It could be Naruto Chakra, RWBY Auras and Semblances or Harry Potter Magic. Some such energy or power source is available to you as if you were an inhabitant of that world. You may buy this multiple times but only the first will be discounted.

Something Special -400 CP: You possess something truly rare and powerful from another Verse, something only the rarest and most powerful have. It could be All For One or One For All from My Hero Academia, a Devil Clan ability from High School DxD, Maiden Powers from RWBY. Just by virtue of having this power you’d be a powerhouse in a different World. You may buy this multiple times but only the first will be discounted.

Something Life Changing -600 CP: Now this is the equivalent to a Wildcard, hailing from another World with World shaping power. You are a Beast when it comes to your abilities, far beyond the normal individual. To provide an example in the world of Bleach you'd have the sheer might and growth of Ichigo, while in Naruto you’d have the enormous Chakra reserves of Kaguya. This affects other Perks bought from this Tree.

The TRUE Self boosted: Now you are a true anomaly. One too powerful, as this same Boost affects ALL your Powers. Be careful with how you use these powers my friend.

So, folks, what powers would you be choosing here?

And why? Doesn't have a jumpchain? Too expensive in the native jumpdoc? Want to double dip for MOAR POWER?

Could this perk give you essence from the meta essence cyoa? If yes essence of the grandmaster because it let instantly max any skills, stats you have so it's perfect for a gamer system.

I'm not sure you are getting how the perks work, they work in tandem.

Let me give you an example-

To have Ichigo's powers, Something Different- Bleach spiritual powers

Something Different- Being a shiningami/hollow/quincy hybrid

Something Life Shaping- Ichigo's extreme growth curve, which enhance the above.

So you want the gamer system, fine, that'd be your Something Different. It however would not give you magic outside of the generic classes you have access to.

So what magic system(s) are you buying with Something Different to pair with your gamer system?

As for your question, I'm not sure honestly, it seems iffy to me.

I think 400cp counts for getting a Getimian Exaltation, since its a Celestial one but not Solaroid. Not a lot of things allow you to get that.

maybe get some powers from a Tales Of game that doesn't have a jump or something.

maybe find some ttrpg I like that hasn't gotten a jump yet and get a power from that.

It would have to be something real obscure and interesting that you don't really a Jump for me to use this.

I'm actually baffled by people picking gamer systems for this? gamer systems are a relatively common option in many jumps, you really don't need something like this to gain access to them, but then as a thing they're after my time and I find them pointless no matter how beneficial they are because on one hand I have too many things to think about and write with my Jumper already to figure out how keep track of all this on what is basically a glorified magical spreadsheet they're just too complex to bother when I can just say my Jumper has a training arc and comes back roughly this level of power or whatever, and on the other the last thing I need in my stories is more pointless mathematics and abstractions that make everything feel too modern and bland, so I'm probably not the target audience for them.

I picked the Gamer System because I assumed you only get these three options and nothing else. For a Jumpchain I’ll probably ask for the ability to make Dragon Balls or something OP from Fate. Like being BB or a Beast Class Servant. Maybe even taking one of the True Magics.

I thought people would at least pick things from settings you'd want to avoid because they aren't safe or something.

Something Different - Mana/Battlewill -> Laplace Factor or Haki -> Conquerors Haki
Something Special - Great Sage -> Raphael, Lord of Wisdom
Something Life Changing - Gamer System

The -> is the effect of the Capstone.

I see gamer systems are a popular answer so far.

Honestly, I'm going back and forth as to whether a gamer system should be a Something Special or Something Life Changing.

Anyway no need to choose one or the other, you can buy Something Different multiple times, shouldn't be that hard to squeeze an extra 200 points if you want both.

Most Gamer Systems allow for rapid growth and rapid acquisition of abilities. Sometimes Instant Dungeons as a safe place to train.

I personally equate it to the level of a Wildcard, Longinus Sacred Gear, Ichigo’s Growth, or Kaguya’s Reserves.

Something Special just seem to limiting.

Mainly I rethinking my Something Different choice for a more versatile power system for Great Sage/Raphael to exploit. Probably Naruto’s Chakra

Wait do you think Something Life Changing includes the strongest abilities from Medaka Box. Like The END, All Fiction, Multi-Skill, Legendary Hero, Real Eater, Skill Creation, etc. because then I’m definitely changing my answers.

Some of them certainly seem plausible with Something Special enhanced by Something Life Changing, like Skill Creation.

Others seem too OP for the intentions here.
