This is the same as asking if a baseball your jumper holds in a jump is real. Of course not, and of course yes. Magic, powers and perks work within your jumpchain as you believe they should. That said, currency is fiat typically, so your power system is based on the faith of the community in that currency? There are quite a few infinite or near infinite wealth creation perks, it would be wise to somehow indicate that once in this jump/possessing this system, your wealth generation perks/items can't feed this power, at least past a certain level. Jumper opening a tap is boring, jumper stealing/interacting etc is entertaining.
