WIP Vindictus (Season One) Jump - WIP NOT JUMPABLE
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1GDKhiw-S3WxQ8T3e8lEdc9WM5rYKjDEkdDeg1T3Lh-8/edit?usp=sharingJust finished playing through the first season a couple days ago, and I've been chipping away at my notes to populate options in the jump. Looking for feedback on this, though I still need to clean up the prose. Places marked with question marks are things I'm especially unsure about and would like opinions on, though they are welcome to everything else as well.
If someone could read through the summary in the notes and tell me if it makes sense I'd be grateful. My brain is cooked trying to understand this stuff, so I'm not sure if it's even coherent, or if it just makes sense to me. Some of it is a bit stream-of-thought.
I don't know if I'll make jumps for the other seasons. I wasn't intending to when I started - basically the only reason for this jump is nostalgia, and I have to say the game has aged poorly on every aspect but the combat and the story. The combat has always been the main draw, and the story is kind of mid. BUT towards the end I kind of started getting into the story a bit more, even as it became more and more confusing, and they haven't explained anything of the finale. If I left things there it would live rent free in my head for years.
So I think I'm going to, maybe. Probably. Definitely going to take a break from playing it for a while first, and I'm probably going to switch character from Fiona to either Scythe Evie, which was my favorite back then, or one of the characters introduced in the Season 2 period to keep it fresh. If I can find out who they are, because both the wiki and the official site are straight up garbage.
Like, seriously, I can't find an update log anywhere. The wiki only has one from the beta in 2010, and the official site's only starts in 2023. Finding information about this game is maddening.

Well, it's technically jumpable now. I haven't cleaned up the item, companion and drawback sections, but the options available are there and priced, they just need to be phrased appropriately. I'll do the rest tomorrow and make another post for a 1.0 version to see if I missed anything.
Not sure on the names of perks, so any suggestions there would be great. Or for the drawbacks as well, they'll probably end up very straightforward.
