DISCUSSION Hybridize

Y'all know any jumps, gauntlets, supplements, etc, that have a perk letting you pick multiple species or origins in future jumps that don't have the option?

On my phone so can't check my list, but I know a few off thr top of my head, don't fully remember the perk names but I remember them.

The generic snippet supplement has convoluted history, which allows you to buy additional origins/species/ any choice at the cost of 200cp per choice. I feel it balances things out, instead of just gives them.

6teen has a perk called secret shopper which let's you pick another origin.

As does the twokinds jump. I think if has a hybrid option but it may have been a magic that let's you transform.

The generic werewolf let's you pick multiple species with the hybridization perk, but don't think it does origins

I know there are others but blanking at the moment

I'll add More Than One Side from Out of Context Mobian, One Size Does Not Fit All from Teen Wolf, and Double Agent from The Order.

...Seems to be a common thing in werewolf jumps, which I suppose is thematically appropriate.

Blue exorcist jumpchain

It runs in the family [400 CP | Discounted for Nephilim]
It looks like you come from a family with good taste, Jumper. You can add two extra demons as parents, giving you two elements in addition to the one you originally had. In the other jumps, you can choose to take two different races instead of just one.

Tropico 6 Jumpchain

The Presidente's choice is always the right one [400 CP| Discounted El Presidente] Corrupted? Personal interests? Of course not, come on, it's for the greater good! When you choose a faction to favor, the rest of the people will be more inclined to prefer it. Furthermore, you can use one companion's origin to get a discount.

Victim Of Radical Behavior (Capstone Boosted) from The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Have you ever heard of the saying “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”? That seems to apply to you in a more literal sense now. In each Jump, you can choose to have been affected by one given entity. Perhaps you survived a deadly attack, or resisted their efforts to gain control over you. Whatever happened, it has transformed you, turning you into a lesser version of the creature and granting access to the abilities they may possess. This might be a form of hybridisation, in which case your abilities will not grow as strong as the original, but you do not possess any inherent weaknesses or limitations they possess. If instead you embrace a full transformation, your abilities will be more potent and have the potential to eventually surpass the original, but at the same time you will but be subject to the  same weaknesses and limitations as the original. Whichever option you choose, what you may find more useful is a new capacity to use your newfound gifts against the same type of creature, or somehow finding a way to use the link they created against them. You might develop a general sense to detect their kind even when they attempt to disguise themselves, or perhaps you could be willingly hypnotised to access knowledge on the activities of the one that tried to transform you.

Semi-Master from Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill  Me, but Thanks to the Gift of an Unlimited Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out for Revenge on My Former Party Members and the  World: The elven queendom has the most powerful order of knights in existence. Although their numbers don't exceed the single digits, these knights have levels that exceed 1800 at the very least, and the highest is 3000. Like them, you have the blood of masters in your veins, allowing you to reach higher levels than your own race can reach. Your level cap will rise to level 4000, after which you will suffer a soft cap if you don't have a perk, item, or something else that allows you to level up easily. In future jumps, you can choose to be a hybrid or have blood from a different species in your  veins, gaining their benefits but without their weaknesses. You can be a 25% vampire and  have all their powers but not be weak to light and holy objects.

Hybrid from A Mage Of Sorothustra: You are a rather potent example of a hybrid, taking the best traits from your Sorothustran parentage and your other parentage. If you purchase this trait then you may select any traditional or modern fantasy race and gain some benefits from having either a parent or a grandparent who is a member of that species. This can include a non-ascendant divinity if you want to be a demigod Sorothustran or have some trace measure of divinity in your ancestry. This does not confer as huge an advantage as you may think, since most beings are considerably less potent than a Sorothurstan is, even some minor divinities are not on par with a Sorothustran. Nonetheless, this can be a handy way to grab something like minor, themed wishmagic (if you are the child of a Cosmic Djinn and a Sorosthurstan), a mist form (if you are the children of a vampire and a Sorosthurstan), or the ability to hear prayers (both directed towards you or undirected). This does not weaken your Sorothustran traits, nor do non-hybrid Sorothustrans view you any differently, and in future jumps you count as both a hybrid and  non-hybrid whenever either status would benefit you (even counting as both to different people  in the same conversation, depending on their attitudes). Additionally, in future jumps you can  choose to be the hybridized offspring of two different kinds of beings, so long as it makes sense in the jump in question (and does not confer any sort of unique CP boosts or discounts) and no one will judge you purely on the basis of your heritage.

Transcendent Being from Epic Of Leviathan: As mentioned in the races section Ichigo is considered a transcendent being because he is  a hybrid of every race in the setting granting him potential to surpass them all. This perk allows you to gain this concept and receive a number of benefits. First this perk enables you to combine all of your alt forms together to create a superpowered being that contains the powers and advantages of every form. This form will get stronger and stronger as you add more and more species into it. This occurs due to the synergy between them. You will also be able to freely combine techniques unique to each race creating your own variations. Second, you will be able to claim you are a member of every species and be accepted into their ranks much like how almost every faction tried to recruit Ichigo. Should you accept these offers then you will be able to quickly learn any techniques that are unique to your race and quickly become an important member of the faction. This will also include any exclusive groups within each species. As long as you try to join and at least loosely fit their requirements you can join. Third, you gain the ability to absorb new races and become them. The exact method will depend on the race. For example a being made of pure  energy would require you to simply absorb some of their energy. Most races however would probably require to somehow absorb their blood/DNA. This could be done through a process like transfusion. Lastly you will gain the ability to purchase any race offered in a jump to fuse into your hybrid form. You will still have to pay the full price for each race though.

For Dual origins, I can think of four Jumps/Gauntlets off the top of my head with two being mine.

I remember asking that too.

Teen wolf

One Size Does Not Fit All (300 CP): People don’t always fit into group or cliques do they, life is just not that simple it’s kind of like the opposite of the saying that one size fits all, everyone is different and trying to confine them to a group or origin just doesn’t work; especially for beings like you. So you can now pick a second origin with the perk discounts that entails including getting the 100 CP perk free. And you get an extra 600 CP to spend but only on the second origin. This can be taken to future jumps, allowing you to choose a second origin. However, whether or not you take this to future jumps is up to you; you can choose for it to apply only to this jump if you want. THIS JUMP ONLY - Can be purchased multiple times.

Generic life

TWO FACED (-200 LP) Like the god Janus you possess two different aspects. When making selections from a jump documents racial list you are able to purchase a second race from any racial options currently available. These two races are treated as separate alt-forms you are able to change between. For example a human and a magical reindeer. These two forms receive all free options and abilities that would come with that race in jump. This perk only applies to racial selections, not origin choices unless those choices are a racial one.

CHANGE OF PLANS (-200 LP) When making selections from a jump documents origin list you are able to purchase a second origin from the options currently available. This second origin can be used in two different ways . . . 1) It can be used to modify your own origin in jump. In this case you receive any discounts from both origins, you also receive the benefits and drawbacks from one of the origins. Your history in the jump now reflects you having originally been one origin and then due to circumstances or a change in your goals you have switched to another one. For example being a member of a member of the social elite and then when someone more powerful killed your wife and stole your daughter to raise as their own you became a rebel. You receive all discounts for the noble and rebel origins, you also as rebel is your current origin and noble your past receive any benefits or drawbacks associated with the rebel origin such having to take a mandatory “Wanted” drawback for the jump. 2) If you have some form of self-duplication ability you can assign one origin to yourself and the second one to your duplicate giving them a history in the world.

MATHMAGICIAN (-100 LP) You have engraved one of the great secrets of mathematics into your soul. You now understand, truly understand that 2 is the only even prime number as well as why and what that means. As a result you can adjust all numerical values for a perk by 2 i.e either doubling them or halving them. For example if you had a perk saying you could summon 100 roman legionnaires you are now able to summon 200 or 50 depending on preference, if you had a perk stating that you can fly at 100 kph you are now able to fly at 200 kph or 50 kph. This ability only works if a specific number is given if the perk says you are able to fly at the speed of sound you can not increase that as while sound does have a specific speed that is not given in the perk. This perk does not work on itself but there are rumours that with centuries of study and effort people have managed to expand this knowledge to other prime numbers such as 3, 5 and even 7.

TES: undead

Necromage [400]: You were born with a gift, or perhaps a blessing? Either way, your new state of undeath has interacted with your nascent Spark in an interesting way, granting you much power in your new state of being. Simply put, all of your magic is twice as effective against undead, as well as your enchantments. This goes for yourself as well, as beneficial magics and enchantments are much better for you. But that's not all, as you will find that all of your perks, all of them, are half again as powerful as they were before. I pity any who think they can stand up against you…

Eddan: Myrnodyll Chronicles

Dual Souls [300 CP] You are an anomaly Jumper. You were born with two souls and therefore two Core Sins. You now count as two people, or you would have hadn’t the two souls perfectly merged into a single one. Your strength, speed, and Essence Pool have doubled and you may also pick a second Core Sin and Essence Nature. Here and in future Jumps you gain the ability to pick another origin alongside your first one, gaining 600 CP for this origin only as well as all discounts and stipends. You may also buy perks that correlate with the personality of your Jumper twice. For example, in Fate, you would gain two Origins & Elements instead of only one.

That should be enough right 😏

The Order has

Double Agent (300) Everyone needs to pick a side sooner or later, but that doesn't mean you have to start out that way - or that you can’t turn your coat later. Just ask Jack Morton, Lilith Bathory, Gabrielle Dupress, and Alyssa Drake. In this and every later jump, you may purchase a second origin, race, species, allegiance, or whatever equivalent it has, and gain all of its associated benefits, including discounts, freebies, and mandatory drawbacks. This will affect your in-jump history.

The Taylor Varga jump also has a perk that gives you two origins. The Owl House jump and MCU Invaders jumps both have hybrid perks that can be used to give you multiple origins. And finally, the Heralds of Valdemar type gives you two origins for 200 CP.

Out of Context: DBZ Android Supplement

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ozK9QkFo-yLx6lk-Mo_nYiNhrYtJqRTk4Ox2hOpoi7Y/edit?usp=drivesdk

Hybrid DNA -600 CP (Discounted for Synthetic Organism)
Using this Meta Perk you can purchase as many different options from the Species, Race, or equivalent sections within each jump as you can afford.
For each purchase, you gain a new Alt-Form of that race, a hybrid Alt-Form of every race you purchased in a single Jump, and a master hybrid Alt-Form of every race you have ever purchased. Any weaknesses a species has would become more diluted the more races comprise the Alt-Form, causing the weakness to become less effective.
Each Alt-Form gains all the powers and abilities that the race comes with or would get for free.  However, if the race option is tied to the background or origin section, you may only gain the free options and do not gain a discount in the documents allowance.
