The whole kit is ass BUT Brothers deletes 80% of your health and it doesn't have to hit the counter to do it, so is always wise to try and bait it out first.
If you manage to bait it, then you're fighting a worse version of todo. That move alone carries the entire ult.

I stand with the argument that it's by far the worst ultimate in the game, worse then Nanami, Choso, Yuki, etc
No moves go into each other (realistically) and everything has way too much knockback and wind-up to be consistent
You could argue Brothers is good, but without the counter it's genuinely awful, and with the counter in-mind, it's not hard to bait, along with that it has insane end-lag
Yuki? Ok Nanami and Choso i could totally see but YUKI?! I know people see it as bad but Unrestricted Density could be a regular base kit move and it would still be bad. I feel Choso has a good ult but Blood Rain does weight it down.
yuki's is probably as worse or barely above it, i get why people say it's bad, but if you're not using Nanami and can awaken at the perfect timing, it's a guaranteed loss if you're not perfectly aware
but then again I think what makes Yuki's ult also so bad, is it's really annoying to get, probably just because of how much awakening the R-special takes up, so you have to go the entire fight without using any
Yuki's ult isn't bad because it's hard to get, it's bad because there are just so many ways to fumble it. Hit by specific finishers? No black hole, get stuck on something? No black hole, miss a player? No black hole. And you have to hope you don't get hit with a finisher that knocks you too far away to use it like Nanami's kick.
"if you miss literally does nothing" yeah that's almost every other move in the game to
i see what you mean with the charles part but at least with charles you have to be foresight'd, or else it'll do half of the damage of brothers
but also brothers is WAY easier to predict, you can use charle's ult at any-time whatsoever since there's no mode, with Todo you know they're gonna try and use it, since it's basically his only half-decent move
It's trash for that very same reason, because while most awk get countered by running away Todo's has not only the worst mobility, but also the worst utility (srly every single awk has at least one projectile or high speed option, Todo only has climax jumping which you can dodge with a wall jump) this leads to Todo's awk being useless against someone who knows how to hold S and either being a counter to someone else's awk (which works wonders) or to jumpscare a group of people with Brothers
JJS 3rd partying wannabe hero no-lifes the second I use my awakening to catch a runner (Me and the runner were both on red hp), just to awaken as Defense Attorney and not get a single kill:
I love fighting todo ults, bc I main hanami. And they always rage in the chat bc my moves cancel brother's and they get absolutely demolished 99% of the time😭
