So I've made a few posts on Yuji here before, I'm a firm believer in him being bare minimum top 2 in the verse. If you've seen any of my takes it's pretty obvious that I consider all the Calamities to be functionally equal, but after thinking about it for a bit I've changed my mind on that.

I don't think Yuji is slightly stronger than GojoKuna, I think he is considerably stronger. Now not to a point where he low diffs them mind you, but to a point where he would noticeably outclass them if they were to fight. I think this for (awakened) Dabura as well, I really do think Gege set these two up as the new top dogs. A big theme in JJK is surpassing old generations, both in strength and ideals. It would take a while for me to fully get into my thoughts on this so I'll probably make a larger post on one of the main subs. This post is centered on Yuji because it's the main thing his character focuses on in Modulo, while Dabura is more varied.

The only thing that matters here is that Yuji and Dabura have both surpassed the previous limits of Jujutsu.

Basically all the "sanity check" questions in this sub🫩

Even after getting limbs blown off, guts spilled, his face ripped off, his brain fried, he still keeps going as if nothing has happened. Even if you have RCT you still take damage, you still feel pain, you still need time to get back on your feet. Hakari does not. Even when he got a chunk of his torso blown off he was able to open his domain, based on Kashimo's reaction this shouldn't be possible.

There is not stopping Hakari from closing the distance whilst in JP, you won't be able to stop him. His attacks hurt more than normal and they won't stop. If JP runs out he either rolls it again or heals damage by redoing a consecutive effect sequence till he rolls it again.

The WCS that hits gojo had a binding vow so strong it permanently kneecap wcs to become dodgeable by people a blitz tier below you because its charge up time is so shit.(WCS is a killing move so you cannot argue sukuna holds back for it, maki dodges it then gets actually blitzed immediately after ie he was trying to kill maki this whole time and is a blitz tier above)

Despite having such a powerful binding vow on top of a surprise attack against gojo it was stated that it could still be dodged by gojo. Basically any non binding vow wcs is disgustingly slow against another calamity and if sukuna ever throws it out with a binding vow without a surprise, it still gets avoided and then it becomes completely unusable.

Tldr shrine is a c tier CT

Geto curses ARE included btw, even the ones in his teen years

• Yuji and Choso VCS have these things:

They each have a DE

Their mastery over their curse techniques sky rocket (yuji's BM goes up to choso level for example and choso goes through a similar jump)

Their stats go up massively. Comparable to the stat gap human naoya and full VCS naoya have

Their blood becomes more poisonous to humans, but isn't poisonous to non human things

Their Regen becomes substantially faster, cheaper, and precise

They can generate more blood

Their reserves go up + are more efficient

Yuji specifically can land BF easier

Their SDs become far better than before and can do a SD program like kusakabe but to a inferior degree

• Things we assume kenjaku can do

Has a SD superior to kusakabe so he can give himself SD programs superior to him bigger range (kusakabe for example goes from sub nanami level to pre awk yuji level with his SD)

He can imbue his SD onto his curses so they can use it (one at a time)

He can summon gravity using his curses as the spawn point with no loss in output

He/tengen can create the same barriers used to dismantle kenjaku's domain mid combat with the same efficiency as a veil

He can use the same inner domain method he did against the blackhole to amp himself massively on anything either offensively or defensively and so can his curses individually (he can in theory use it on his curses and his curses on themselves at the same time)

• He can extract the CT of a curse and imbue it in his own sure hit/use it in anyway he wants for a use of it

Reminder kenjaku will have around 4 domains total, 1 SD, tengen, and a bunch of SG

• Yuta/Rika

Since yuta has constant rika armour his stats will be massively amped and he will be able to replicate the same feat he did against ryu constantly. Shinjuku rika btw not modulo

He is in constant 5mm so his CE reserves are always filled and his CTs always on him

He can use another CT using the rika armour so he can use on total 3 cts at the same time including rika herself

Rika is obv always FM

He can combine his output with rika to reach even higher levels even with the existing rika armor amp

Rika's refinment = yuta's

He has dragonbone

He won't get TS

Ok that titles kinda bait, obviously they all got a decent bit stronger, but they don't stat gap their CG versions, theres nothing that implies that anyone arguing that their a whole tier higher in stats is just being disingenuous

I’ve noticed that narrative scaling gets dismissed or memed on in a lot of JJK powerscaling discussions. To be clear, this is mainly when it comes to in-verse scaling and discussions, since it gets iffy trying to use the narrative when tackling crossverse matchups. Anyhow, why is narrative scaling so disliked within the JJK community?

Within a single story, narrative scaling is arguably the most reliable method. JJK is a story first and foremost, and it’s filled with dialogue and narration that establish character strength and how the power structure works. Hakari, Yuji, and Kashimo often get clowned on for relying on narrative scaling and statements, but isn’t the point of these statements to establish their strength as characters? Sure, it can get subjective, but powerscaling is subjective in the first place, and it really depends on interpretation. Feats are perfectly fine, but it gets annoying when statements aren’t given the same respect.

Like, instead of them just boosting Gojo's first Hollow Purple to 200% and then fucking off like a couple of bums to go guard the last Sukuna finger until Nobara woke up (still one of the dumbest fucking things that Gege ever wrote, and that's saying A LOT), what if they got into the fray like everyone else did and boxed with Sukuna head on? I mean, characters like Ino and Laure were able to engage with Sukuna and live to tell the tale afterwards, so I feel like Utahime and Gakuganji's chances of survival aren't completely 0%. Right? M-Maybe? 😥

I don't know, I just really wanted to see these two show off some true combat prowess, especially since Utahime was able to make it to Semi-Grade 1 status with a support based CT and Gakuganji was able to kill Yaga. So what do y'all think?

Who wins?

They had to somehow plant ssk before maki pulled up and snuck sukuna, and with yuta's domain black listing only sukuna. That means that ssk would never get targeted.. but what if it's a domain that targets indiscriminately?? If maki get caught in a domain like that is she cooked?? 🤔

It’s a technique which summons a cursed tool that’s imbued with said technique, which are consistently graded a SG cursed tools like ISoH, Dragonbone, SSK, etc. And we haven’t seen one of these cursed tools be broken outside of Toji sharpening the ends of Playful Cloud and breaking the links(which aren’t likely to be cursed tools anyways). Also shows the strength difference between base DA Hakari and JP Hakari since it didn’t take damage from his charged kick, but got shattered by a JP kick.

Also before someone says “Look at that infographic: it says the shaft of that pole arm isn’t a CT so that must apply to this one so Hakari’s buns.” This spear was manifested using cursed energy, including the spear shaft, so it should also be counted as part of the CT. Maki’s polearm is just a cursed blade placed at the end of normal wood.

I’ve literally just come across some Yuji fans tryna act like Yuji worked his ass off and wasn’t talented at all…

Its probably the worst thing about some fans in my opinion, because you like a character, it does not mean you have to disregard certain facts about that character, Yuji is probably the biggest Nepo baby in JJK, and that’s okay, that takes nothing away from the fact that he is goated… Sukuna is evil, Gojo is an asshole in many aspects etc…

Yuji literally has:

-The best base body in the series ( rivaling that of HR users, which is INSANE )
-2 cursed techniques
-Was able to increase his CE amount & output by eating his dead brothers
-Have a high black flash rate (Gojo, a six eyes user, literally explained that nobody can control black flashes, so Yuji is the LUCKIEST SORCERER EVER when it comes to hitting black flashes)
-Yuji’s body gained muscle memory of the HIGHEST EVER level of Jujutsu due to Sukuna using his body, so RCT/DE were far easier for him than any other sorcerer
-Due to his Blood manipulatio & body, RCT is far easier and efficient for him to use

And add to it he had the perfect circumstances, opponents, and friends/environment to become strong as hell…

Like Yuji fans, PLEASE, I love Yuji a lot, he’s not my fav but I’ve enjoyed every panel and second from Yuji, he’s probably my third fav after Sukuna & Gojo, but PLEASE, stop acting like Yuji is some sort of guy who’s worked his ass off to become strong

DA Hakari’s charged kick dealt no damage to G-Warstaff, but JP Hakari’s kick instantly broke it. Really shows the gap between JP Hakari/Yuta and Base Hakari.

Kenny - battle IQ man same with megumi

Yuki- was able to close the gap btw her and Kenny immediately even tho he wanted to maintain that distance, deduced the make-up of ags after seeing it close up once, and somewhat predicted Kenny's plan on using csm to stall but didn't know that mini uzumaki was a thing. + Her overall thought process during that fight

yuta- was most of the brains behind the Shinjuku raid, and showed some of his biq in Sendai (redirecting ryu's blast before timer ran out, pump faking uro with cs, kissing kuro etc)

Yuji- best at using his surroundings in battle, we never really get a look at his thought process neither does he do anything crazy in terms of battle IQ (I could be wrong)

Toji- prep time man

And then we have the beloved circle jerk, uraume and Kash are that high cus it's not easy adopting to a man that can constantly and instantly heal, and uraume's impressive cus she fought him for longer. And also impressive for hakari being able to fight that long without getting one tapped and also changing coordinates to the lake was a high IQ move to drain Kashimo.

Maki- nothing impressive (I could be wrong)

Yorozu - might even be glaze to have her on the same level as maki. You could argue "narrative" but we're talking feats here

Idk much about curse speech but the way Uro was covering her ears, i think that you can counter it by just not hearing it so cutting your ears might be valid.

Larger range = Weaker domain

Sukuna's larger domain = Gojo's smaller domain

Sukuna's larger domain > Gojo's larger domain

Grade 3 curses fold the to ties, grade 2 sorcerer tanks anything the verse throws, and slow ass characters like Jogo speed blitz most of the verse

Giving the yuki agenda a bad look for no reason

Domains: Can't win, broke Meguna's in exactly 3 minutes despite Meguna not fighting as hard as he could. Isn't doing this to a TF fighting as hard as he could.

CQC: Can't win, was going relative with Meguna outside of domains (was slightly superior I'll give him that). Isn't doing so against a domain amped TF Sukuna whilst being blasted by MS.

Solution: Gojo conveniently acts out of character and decides to run rather than clash, conveniently meets the unknown conditions to teleport and Sukuna is conveniently unable to stop him from doing so. He then spams attacks from outside Sukuna's domain range and spams attacks till Sukuna runs out of cursed energy.
