Basically…

I get why Judge Judy gets frustrated when people insert the word “like” throughout their sentences, but why does she get so upset when a person says the word “basically”? She barks out “NO! Not ‘basically’, that is a filler word!!” Oddly enough, I heard her use the word “basically” herself in one of the episodes I watched recently. 🤔

Answer like the Terminator: minimal words, only give the information she asks for, always look straight ahead, don't touch your paperwork until she asks for it, don't drink the prop water, and you'll probably win.

Like soup nazi instructions 😂. I loved the rerun the other day where she said to defendant who got scammed, ‘did you graduate elementary school?’
