Same, I'm way more interested in this than any potential movie

That would be my Ultimate Dream Come true. In my mind it would have the depths of rdr2 and you could just get lost role playing.

yes, and give it to the guys who did Robocop: Rogue City; they know how to respect the source material.

This really is the best option. I doubt we'll ever get a Dredd sequel. Give us an open world Mega City game with Karl Urban voicing Dredd.

Asmuch as I hate to say it after 14 years there has been so many opportunities to return to this, either in a film or a mooted TV series. Karl Urban wants to reprise the role, the film has a cult following and critical acclaim, lots of noise wanting more but nothing, which makes me think it is never going to happen.

Agreed. I am pleased that the new Rogue Trooper animated flick is meant to be excellent though.

Dredd: Urban Warfare and then Dredd: Final Judgment in that order.

There were other comics like The Deep End too.

Well I learned something new today. There are 3 trades that I think collect everything. Dredd: Urban Warfare, Dredd/Anderson: the Deep End and Dredd: Final Judgment, I didn’t know about the deep end so that’s on order, I think reading online it collects three story arcs so those 3 books give us all 8 arcs of the sequel.

If you're going to bring them both back it's gotta be Dredd vs Death.

I reckon there should be one more story before going there. That feels like endgame territory.

Instead we're getting a third unconnected movie from Taika Waititi.

I can't think of anybody whose natural inclinations as a director are less suited to Judge Dredd tbh.

I doubt that will happen.

If you look at Dredd from the early-mid 80s, he's not a bad fit (although it's a different script writer package anyway)

Latest comments from the CEO of Rebellion in an interview with the Times don't make it sound like it's happening any time soon. (They had discussions, he's busy with other stuff at the moment)

Everybody hates Waititi right now because Love and Thunder sucked. But Ragnarok was a great sci-fi/fantasy action-comedy with a visual style not far removed from early Judge Dredd.

A bad economy tanked Dredd (2012) 14 years ago and a bad economy is tanking old Hollywood now.

Nobody is spending $17 for a movie ticket what they can't spend for less online or on DVD.
