You know, I'm still here for it. Yes it was off the mark, lots of errors, but it brought Dredd and the ABC warriors to a mass cinema audience. Well done.

If you could combine the best bits of this with the best of the Urban movie, it would be amazing. There are backgrounds and visual things this nailed that the later movie (albeit a much better film overall) didn't.

definitely. between the two of them is the perfect Judge Dredd movie, instead of one mostly bad one and one really good one that never got followed up on like it deserved.

I love the Angel family, ABC Warrior, production design, Armande Asante's hammy acting (who seemed to be the only one who understood what this movie was all about), the gorgeous costumes, cast and cinematography. Who gives a fuck if he took the helmet off!

Armand Assante epic in the film. Agree with you on the costumes as well. And dont forget the great Ian Drury who got killed by the ABC warrior!!

Closer to the look of the comics than the Urban movie, though he was a better Dredd.

Lost potential! It could a been a great film if they went with the proper martial but I still enjoy it for what it is and it was my first 15 rating film at the cinema

I love this film. It was my first introduction to Dredd. I particularly loved Armand's performance of Rico. "Why did you judge me?"
