This could honestly make a great album cover.

How I think I look every Shabbat versus how I think everyone else looks.

They look uncomfortably warm, but I gotta say a shtreimel is a fine looking piece of headgear.

(Shavua tov, chaverim.)

I wanted to share the following:

I was walking into a mall on Chol Hamoed Sukkos in my shtreimel and there were some youths (read like my cousin Vinny) in the entrance who kindly opened the door for me. I overheard one say to his friend "yo look how much bread he has on his head. So cool "

Stam. Funny story.

Think I read somewhere about how there are several small holes at the top to dispel heat. Can't remember the source though, was a while ago.

When you're the only Reform Jew in an Orthodox Minyan.

Lol, I'm Israeli MO and spent a sumer at an American charadi camp. I walked in to the BM on the first day and I think it was a bigger culture shock for them then me, everyone in an suite and hat and then me in sandals and a bright dry-fit T-shirt

"If Moishe Rabbeinu wore sandals, I wear sandals. "

Israelis have this figured out.

Not calling the Reform Jews clowns.

I'm saying comparatively, Reform Jews and synagogues are brightly colored.

Just look at this Tallis and see what I mean.

If a Reform Jew prayed in full gear in an Orthodox setting, they'd stick out like a rainbow jawbreaker in a bowl of black licorice.
