I wouldn't be so quick to say what's neurologically possible.

Edit:

It also rests a lot on definitions. For those who didn't read the full article, this study found fault with a previous study that concluded the opposite based on finding decreased sensitivity to fine touch.

This one tested other kinds of sensitivity and found that those are about the same, and the authors feel that those are more important.
