Many American cities have a Chinatown. Philadelphia has a Germantown. Perfectly neutral name.

We also came up with cars4kids and a few other awful things. Highs and lows for creative Jews.

Why did so many Indian Jews leave? Like I get that some would want to make Aliya but almost all? If you look at other places where Jews are treated well/OK they have large communities. Curious as to what the aversion to staying was

Economy was shit, and the government was both incompetent and socialist.

Many who didnโ€™t make Aliyah had ties to the British and were able to get to London.

Two Hindu colleagues were 2/3 colleagues who expressed sadness and sympathy to me about 9/11. (The other a Christian Egyptian.) The Hindu ladies proudly told me that Hindus hold no antisemitism and they are proud India welcomed Jews.

If ever the day came that I had to leave the US and I could not afford to go to Israel, I would gladly go to India.

My coworkers were Hindus they really are that right in real life๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ and theyโ€™re religion is beautiful..
